Picturesque Loft on Branch Lake near Acadia National Park

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, near Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and all of Downeast Maine. Located on Branch Lake which is the town's pristine water supply. Beautiful walk in beach frontage with a 50 ft aluminum dock for swimming and boating. You can bring your own boat but must talk to owners prior about state and local restrictions. Pontoon boat and seadoo rentals nearby can be arranged by you. There is an aluminum canoe, 14" row boat and 2 kayaks available on site. Amazing Stay!

House was exactly how it was listed, the lake was an amazing edition to the trip. Perfect distance to the National Park and a lot of activities to do in the area!

Good facilities, full kitchen close to water with dock & covered porch with lake view. Water has strong sulfur odor but potable water was provided.

we are so happy that you had a great stay and the facility met all your expectations.cleanliness is our #1 priority it truly is a bit of heaven from that upper deck! taking reservations for the late blueberry season and apple picking up wilson way to johnstons orchards at the top of the hill in september. don't for get leaf peepers season as all the leaves turn magnificent colors in sept, and oct. quite a spectacle.EAT SOME LOBSTER TOO!!!

Lovely property on beautiful lake

We greatly enjoyed our time on Branch Lake! The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, and modern with excellent air conditioning, 3 kayaks for enjoying the lake. Please note: there is a second lake camp on this property that is available and may be rented for friends snd family but may also be rented separately to people apart from your group. Luckily, we had excellent neighbors!

Pros: Very responsive host and a dedicated property manager next door to help with anything that comes up. Very clean above garage property with two bedrooms, a pull out couch with one bathroom. Since the back porch is elevated, the westward view was incredible, especially at sunset. The lake is very quiet and clean. There is a dock and beach and canoe and kayaks that have access to use. Kids loved all of those and we enjoyed watching them. Laundry room downstairs and AC in the unit. Unit is about 40 minutes from Acadia which was the reason for our trip. Which made the park easily accessible for day trips while not staying in a super-touristy area like Bar Harbor. Cons: Sharing the outdoor amenities was a little awkward with children and sharing laundry was as well. The tap water inside the unit is not drinkable due to minerals that can cause sickness. There are signs throughout the unit. We used tap water only for dishes and store bought water for everything else. This water issue should be included in the listing details. Also, I get that marijuana is legal in Maine but it does dampen the experience when the smoke blowing in your direction while outside. We had a couple of issues during our stay outside of anyone’s control with wifi outage and then a power outage which cut water off to the unit. The property manager and host were great at getting them handled to the extent they could and even refunded us one night due to us having to leave the unit because of no power.

Everett Thanks for all the positive comments you made. We spoke to our neighbors and they said there was a skunk in the area for two nights. That would have caused the unpleasant smell. On both our Airbnb and VRBO property listings it shows in the property description that you share certain amenities like beach access, dock, kayaks, canoe and laundry facility. We have one deep drilled well which has emitted at times a sulfur odor and high in iron. We use this water for everything but drinking and cooking. We supply mountain spring water via our property manager Fred. Once again thank you for staying at our property and hope you will visit us again sometime in the future when you come to explore Downeast Maine.
