From start to finish, our week stay at this sweet cabin was excellent. The owner was very responsive and accommodating; the cabin was cute, clean, and well-stocked and met all our needs; the views of the pond and the sounds of yodeling loons and trilling frogs were awesome. And caught fish on first cast! Super appreciated being able to bring our dogs, too. Thank you!
so freindly and helpful the price is very cheap for everything you are getting I would highly recommend this place to anybody wanting a great place with a wonderful view love it
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a cold week in the 30's to high 40's with lots of wind but the cottage stayed toasty with the propane fireplace and the mini splits. Thank you again for a great getaway!

The property was amazing easy to find and it had everything we needed and we loved that we could bring the dog with us. We took the canoe out on the pond and it was just amazing the views of the pond in the morning when the sun comes up over the trees is spectacular. Highly recommend this truly cozy place on the pond.
Great little place with a view. Clean easy to get to.
I really thought overall a great place. It was close to my relatives. Easy access to rt 2. I wasn't fond of the spiral stars to the bed area.
Has all the amenities anyone would need..

Thank you for leaving a review. Iknow those spiral stairs can be a bit tricky, and if i had any other option, besides only having a ladder, we would change them out. Unfortunately, we are stuck with them.
Beautiful Sunrises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!we were too busy to enjoy the lake. Next time we would like to go out on the lake in one of the many boats provided. Well stocked kitchen with utensils. Cute!! Cozy !! could use a cobweb cleaning. but basically clean. Nice quiet area. Would love to stay here again sometime.
The cottage was a perfect location for us. Off the beaten path and next to a pretty lake. Access and parking was very easy. The neighbors were very quiet. Well stocked and comfortable. My only issue is I'm handicapped and could not go up or down the small circular stairway to the bedroom upstairs. However, I was quite comfortable in the living room.

I was hoping for better
I want to give this a better rating. Pros are the location, which was very peaceful and quiet, and the price was very low, the hosts were also great at communicating. The cons are there was left over food in the oven, which we did not know of.. As we turned on the oven this awful smell kept getting worse and worse, until we located that it was inside the oven… I also felt the stairs were a bit unsafe as you could barely fit a foot on the steps. This property has a lot of potential

I’m sorry that the food in the oven was missed when the cabin was cleaned, unfortunately these things can happen. It is a camp so things are never perfect, which is why we have priced it as so. If I charged more for the cleaning fee then things could be more thorough. As for the staircase it is within code. If we could put something in besides a ladder to replace we would, but the space doesn’t allow for that. I do think a two star ratings was a bit harsh since you didn’t have any issues with anything else.
If you are looking for a place to stay with that Maine cabin experience, this is it. The cabin is nicely equipped and furnished with everything you need to be comfortable without loosing the cabin feeling. The cabin is located right on Sibley Pond (I call it a lake where I am from), with windows in the living room and bedroom looking out to amazing views. There's a nice sized back deck and back yard with a nice fire pit to enjoy a relaxing drink or social time with friends or family. If you want to get out on the lake, the owners have a variety of options to choose from with life vest. Shown in one of the pictures. The host is absolutely amazing, sister and brother own and manage the cabin. If you need anything, you get a response quickly, and the brother lives local if you need anything to include firewood. Can't find better hosts anywhere. We stayed in Maine for almost 3 weeks and rented a VRBO at Fogg Brook Resort for the first half of the trip, which was nice, but wish I would have booked our entire stay at the cabin. Thank you again for letting us stay in your cabin we had a great trip.
