Wonderful Home and Location

My husband, my sister and my two children (8,1) had a wonderful experience staying here. The house had all the amenities you could want even during the colder season of late October. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home was nice and clean and spacious. There was plenty to do at the home but was also within driving distance of a number of big family attractions. Highly recoemme d!

Great finish to the summer

Overall, an amazing stay. Wish the boat slip didnt have a 5x8 beam right across the slip only 31inches below the water line preventing safe boat usage, however, was able to dock the boat on the outside of the slip no issue. The interior of the home was amazing and the only issue was the hvac banging in the middle of the night when the system would try and keep the temperature above the preset level. Otherwise, extremely comfortable and accomodating stay which would gladly recommend to anyone interested in fun on the lake.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear you had an amazing stay and found the home comfortable and accommodating. We appreciate your feedback about the boat slip and the HVAC noise, and we'll make sure to look into both to improve the experience for future guests. It’s great to hear you were still able to enjoy docking your boat and that you'd recommend the property for lake fun. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Rented over christmas and offered zero decorations, the house wasnt the cleanest, the add offered a fireplace but upon arrival it was obvious that the fireplace although offered to use had none of the required tools or wood to use it, had to spend a fair amount of time getting tv's hooked up and working, the house was very cold and couldn't change thermostat so it would stay on a temperature, overall not the most accommodating if your going to stay you had better bring plenty of blankets and other things you might need. Thsnk you

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re truly sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t feel as comfortable or accommodating as you were hoping — that’s never the experience we want for our guests. We understand that everyone has different expectations, especially around the holidays, and while décor and seasonal touches can vary, we appreciate you sharing how that impacted your stay. The fireplace is available for guest use, and while firewood isn’t provided as noted in the listing, we understand how that can still feel disappointing if it wasn’t what you anticipated. We’re also sorry for any frustration with the TVs or thermostat — our team is always happy to help troubleshoot or assist in real time, and we truly wish we’d had the opportunity to make things more comfortable for you during your stay. Guest feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we appreciate you sharing yours so we can continue to improve and set clear expectations for future guests. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we wish you nothing but the best in your future travels.
