This cottage is Heaven. Run don't walk to book this if it's available. We had a fantastic time celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We spent a day in Boothbay Harbor and another day at the Botanical Gardens. The rest of the time we enjoyed relaxing and seeing the views from every room except the bathroom. We had our own beach, which we went out at low tide to hunt for treasures. We accessed the beach using a nice sturdy fairly new staircase. It is truly a peaceful and quiet location. You hear the ocean and the birds and if you're lucky the bell on the Pemaquid buoy. Speaking of, you are a 5 minute drive from the Pemaquid Lighthouse. You will see lobster trap bouys, lobster boats, sailboats. The cottage was spotless. We have rented many places and this one will remain in our hearts forever.
This wonderful little cottage with spectacular water views is so much fun for hanging out and offers a great home base for trails in the area and dining out.
This was a fantastic location. The house was clean and well equipped. Sitting on the back deck watching the tides go in and out was so relaxing. Lovely place that i would definitely book agan!
This is the best place we have ever stayed in on the coast of Maine. It was cozy, secluded and had the best view to wake up to every morning. Everything we may have needed was provided. We loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this perfect ocean setting. The house was very comfortable and was well stocked with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property.

This house was everything we could have asked for. Location is ideal: very private, gorgeous views, but also there's a grocery store 5 minutes away.Everything in the house was high quality: sheets and towels, curtains, dressers, etc. Walking in it felt like everything was very clean and in great shape. We got quick responses from the host when things went wrong, and they were dealt with immediately. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Little bit of heaven on earth! Just an amazing place and can not beat the view. Mark was so wonderful and easy to work with..great communication and we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back!
The view alone here will cure any problem you have. So relaxing, so peaceful, so quiet.
I like to cook and the kitchen was fine for all my needs. Also, there are restaurants nearby ( driving).
Aquahela is the perfect cottage on the coast of Maine! The views are amazing and the house is well equipped with everything you could need. The location couldn’t be better…private yet close to the lighthouse, grocery store, lobster pounds & restaurants. We had a hard time leaving the property during our stay because we enjoyed watching the water, the tides, the birds…and collecting special treasures on the beach. So restful and so much fun…we will definitely be repeat visitors.
This is the fourth time we have stayed at this cottage. If you are like my husband and me and enjoy the sound of waves, the ocean breezes and peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
It is always immaculate and everything you could ever need is provided. I love to cook and the kitchen is user-friendly and is well-equipped.
If you are looking for a location where the stress of every day life just melts away, this is the place for you!
This is the third year that my husband and I have stayed in this cottage. If you enjoy serenity, this is the place for you. The location and the views could not be better. It is immaculate, warm, cozy and comfortable. Mark is extremely easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to come back next year!
We enjoyed ourselves so much in May we came back for a second stay this year! Wonderful property! Great location on the bay. Close to the lighthouse, restaurants, and market…but quiet and private. Has all the amenities and extras one could need. Owner/host easy to communicate with. The high point of our stay were the three eagles that fished out front almost daily. It was thrilling to see them so close. We will certainly be back!!

Beautiful location, really enjoyed the stay. The stairs are a challenge especially with no landing at the top. Didn't receive any notification about check-in and I got no answer when I called but when I checked the door was unlocked and keys were on the table. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
