Lovely well appointed cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear, beds comfortable, furniture made for lounging, plenty of towels, etc. So relaxing to sit on the deck and let the sounds of the lapping water and soft breezes let the stress drain away. Sunsets were quite spectacular.

What a beautiful and peaceful place this is! We loved sitting on the deck and down by the firepit watching the sunsets and the tides come in. The view out the large windows was amazing. The owners supply a book with ideas for so much to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the suggestion for where to buy fresh lobster and there is a lobster pot provided on the property to use. What a fun experience that was. The cabin is so well stocked with everything we needed. It was fun to get the welcome gift of honey and blueberry jam. Great stay!

The cabin was a great place for a peaceful stay. cabin was very clean and had everything that you would need for a great stay. Beds were comfortable . enjoyed a sunset every night on the deck. kitchen was well supplied with things for in cabin cooking.Rebecca was easy to get in touch with if needed. we had a wonderful stay and will consider staying there again.

If ever a rental was EVERYTHING you could hope this is it.Everything as advertised and just superb.Quiet bay, beautiful sunsets, 5:30 a.m. lobster boats, herons, eagle, osprey, cormorants, gulls, terns, a generational family of chipmunks for entertainment, turkeys , songbirds and even a roque seal hunting and/or playing in harbor pretty regularly.A fantastic rental with simply gorgeous drives to anywhere else you may want to go....and you may not want to leave.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pleasant Point cabin in Cushing, Maine. It's a beautiful, peaceful property and a great place to slow down and enjoy the coast.The cabin is small and modern, with a wonderful great-room featuring high ceilings, lots of glass, and plenty of natural light. The wood-burning stove was a personal favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was clean and functional, and the laundry equipment was excellent. The two smaller bedrooms, one with a futon and TV, complement the master bedroom nicely.The setting is what really makes this place special. The cabin overlooks the rocky shore of a tidal river. At low tide, you can carefully walk down to the water and out to an exposed island covered in rocks and seaweed. There's also a seating area and fire pit beneath some enormous pine trees at the edge of the shore.Despite having other cabins and vacation homes nearby, the property is remarkably quiet. You can hear the coastal birds during the day, and on clear nights, the sky is filled with stars, thanks to the lack of city lights.The cabin guide was also genuinely helpful in finding things for my wife and me to do around mid-coast Maine.The amenities aren't extravagant, but everything we needed was there. The comfortable cabin and beautiful, serene setting made this a wonderful getaway. We'd happily stay here again.
