Christophe was very friendly and kind enough to answer some random questions of ours. The cabin was clean and met all our needs. The shared spaces were also very clean and well stocked. Would recommend!

The microwave needs a good cleaning. Everything else was perfect.
First of all, this was a great experience! I would absolutely return and our group really enjoyed the environment. The onsite manager was there to greet us and give a tour but then have us space. The cabin is really cute all all the grounds were well taken care of.Leaving
The property was new and being work on, but in a caretaker way. Everyone was pleasant and ask if there is anything we needed. The Sunset was beautiful as we sat out on the lanai overlooking the Ocean. Our cottage was perfect for our needs. It was not what we were expecting but got a lot more from it. Perfect little compound for what we needed at the time.
Overall, our stay was very good. The owner and manager were responsive to our everyday needs. There was some gap in communication for check in. We missed to see the email regarding the instructions to check-in. We waited to at the gate to check-in and trying to message Christophe thru VRBO. He responded after about half an hour and with a warm welcome. This jungle cabin is a real jungle experience!

I am sorry you had this issue. Vrbo does not enable us to see automatic messages we program to be sent to our customers with all the check-in instructions, unlike Airbnb and Booking, which is why guests have to check emails and the info is not available in the app message thread. Makes no sense to me.. especially in light of this issue. Glad you enjoyed your stay, though!

The property is comprised of several spaces including the jungle cabin we stayed in. It is Called Manta soul. The pictures show a very clean place but with property that has many trees, things get overgrown and messy quick. The hot tub and above ground pool are clean but old. Our rooms were clean minus several ants crawling around. However, the lanai where we were to congregate to ourselves was very dusty and dirty and would really benefit to a simple wipe down before arrival. After all we paid a 90 dollar cleaning fee. The paths to our cabin also could use maintenance as there was rotting fruit blocking our path and when it’s dark you can’t see it . If you decide to stay at the property be sure to know that the frogs are extremely loud at night. They do provide ear plugs. It is a very nature type area and interesting. They do provide shampoo and soap. I’m sure plants go crazy growing with all the rain. Pictures posted are when it had Been freshly cleaned up. The directions were good. Also clear the parking areas to allow to get out easy.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us in the Jungle Cabin at Manta Soul. We’re always grateful when guests take the time to share their experience.
The Jungle Cabin is designed for guests seeking a more immersive rainforest stay, so nature is very much part of the experience, including frogs at night, tropical vegetation, insects, rain, and the occasional fallen leaf or fruit along the paths, especially after storms. In Hawaii’s jungle climate, things grow and change incredibly fast, which is part of the charm (and adventure) of staying here.
We do our best to keep the property clean, comfortable, and well-maintained while preserving the natural setting that many guests specifically come to enjoy.
We also wanted to clarify that while the hot tub may not be brand new, it is fully functional and clean, and the pool and deck itself are only two years old. Our focus is always on cleanliness, comfort, and creating a relaxing experience in harmony with the environment. Our ratings across 3 platforms prove it.
Lastly, we did need to gently remind your group after 9:00 PM that jacuzzi hours had ended and that voices were carrying across the property. As we work hard to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests, it’s possible that this brief interaction may have influenced some of your overall impressions of the stay. However, our intention was simply to remind your group to respect our guests' comfort and peace.
