Such a cute, cozy, and super clean spot! The space felt welcoming and well cared for, and the owners were fantastic, they responded incredibly quickly and made everything so easy. Would absolutely stay here again!
Adorable tiny home! We had everything we needed for a two night stay, including the most comfortable bed. Excellent location for the wedding we attended. Appreciate the prompt communication and ease of check in/check out process. We look forward to coming back to Pepin in warmer weather and will not hesitate to book this home again!
The tiny house was perfect for our stay. The bed is super comfy. I accidentally locked the keys in the house so I messaged our host and he replied quickly and made sure we could get back in right away. It had all of the amenities that we needed and our dog was able to stay with us as well which was great.
What a great little spot tucked away in Pepin! It was perfect for our needs. Nice space, spacious bed, full bath, and really nice kitchen. Chuck is a great host, and we got a free dessert on him when we went to Harbor View! Will stay again and will be telling our friends.
Very accommodating and gracious host. Excellent communication. Comfortable and quiet accommodations. Great place to stay if you’re attending a wedding at Woods & Co which is only 1.5 miles away.
We needed a place to stay the night of a local wedding. This house was exactly what we needed and were impressed with the accommodations. Thanks so much!
This tiny house has everything you need - comfortable bed, clean bathroom, kitchen basics and a nice deck out front. Easy check-in/check-out and friendly, responsive host. Highly recommend!

The Afton House is a great place to stay! Everything was excellent and what you may need, was provided. Toothbrush (which I forgot :) among other amenities were provided.
Great location and great communication when needed. Would stay again if in the area. Thank you
The place was as described and had everything we needed. Check-in was very easy. The bed was very comfortable. Cell service was a little spotty, but the Wi-Fi worked very well.
Absolutely perfect! It’s clear that Charles cares about this property and his guests. So many touches. Check-in was simple. It was clean and refreshing. I’d definitely stay again when I am in the neighborhood.
Check-in was easy, and communication from the host was great. The bed was comfy, and the place had everything we needed. We also loved the outdoor deck area—the beautiful flowers made it feel like a little tropical oasis. We'd definitely stay again and have already recommended it to our in-laws, who have a wedding in the area in May

About the host
Hosted by Chuck Peterson
Originally grew up in Albertville, MN. I enjoy gardening, raising chickens and spending time with my kids. I always have various projects going on on my property as I try to make improvements.
Why they chose this property
My place is the first place out side of the Pepin Village, so I live on 1.25 acres with a large garden and I rotate laying hens around the property during the warmer months. It's a spacious, quiet and private property. But, also close to Pepin for easy quick access to our various restaurants and bars. And of course Lake Pepin.
What makes this property unique
I have a greenhouse that has 2 hammock chairs that guests are free to relax in. Heating is available during the cold months. If it's sunny out during the warmer months it can get quite hot in there. I also have laying hens that are rotated around the property that you are free to see. The netting that surrounds them is electric.
