Nice lakefront house with direct access to the water, close to Ludlow, Okemo and lots of nice hiking. The only downside is road noise from route 100, which is directly across the narrow lake. Upsides: lovely deck overlooking the water. Our kids loved swimming right off the property. Some of us preferred to head out in the kayaks. It’s a 10 minute paddle to the gift shop on the other side of the lake, which has soft serve ice cream. The host was very responsive to questions and small concerns. Overall, a great place to spend a hot week!

Great house, convenient to ski areas

My family of 5 stayed for a long weekend. It was perfect as a place to relax after a day of skiing. The house was clean, cute, easy to find and a very short drive to Okemo. It was a bit smaller than it appears in photos but still plenty of room for us. We could have fit more people if needed. There is a grocery store, a gas station and several restaurants nearby so we were able to get everything we needed. The beds are comfortable (memory foam type mattresses I think) and there are tons of hooks to hang up ski gear. I appreciated the boot/glove dryer as well. The kitchen is good sized and well equipped. The couch is big and comfortable and my kids enjoyed the video game table. While we didn’t use the deck, or go down near the lake, it would probably be really nice in the summer.
