Welcome to Killeen House and Gardens, Galway.
We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests to Killeen House for many years and look forward to creating many more memorable stays.

Built in 1837, Killeen House is set on 25 acres of private gardens and grounds, offering a peaceful and luxurious retreat just 15 minutes' drive from Galway City. One of our scenic walkways leads to the historic Galway–Clifden railway line, adding a unique touch of local history to your stay.

The Space
This elegant country home offers:
Six large bedrooms, sleeping up to 12 guests. Three bedrooms have king-size beds, one has a super king bed, and two have single beds.
The super king bed can be separated into two single beds. If you would prefer this configuration, please let us know when making your booking.
One bedroom is located on the ground floor, offering easy access for guests, while the remaining five bedrooms are on the upper floor.

The house offers generous communal spaces, giving families and friends plenty of room to relax together, or find a quiet corner to unwind.
The fully equipped kitchen features a gas cooker, oven, and a large fridge and freezer, making it ideal for gathering and cooking.
The dining room features a dining table with ample space for everyone to gather together for meals.
Beautifully landscaped gardens and private grounds to wander at your leisure.
A complimentary continental breakfast included for your convenience.

Additional Features
Monitored CCTV operates outdoors for security, but the main house is private and is for the sole use of you and your group.
A dedicated host on call throughout your stay.

Please note: The Cottage, which is adjacent to the main house, is used privately by the host's family.

Other things to note
We recommend having a car during your stay, as there is no public transport nearby and the main road is not suitable for walking. It makes exploring the area and enjoying day trips much easier.

We do not have an electric vehicle charging point at the property or outlets suitable for EV charging.

If you are considering having an external service such as caterers or photographers onsite during your stay, please consult with us in advance, as we have specific guidelines around this.
