Emerald Isle Getaway

We loved the beachfront location and beautiful window views of the beach from the main floor and kitchen area! The half-stairways with carpeted pads really made things easier to navigate for my parents as well. Lovely stay!

Perfect Beach Front Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront duplex! It was perfect for our family- clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn't be better, with beautiful ocean views and easy beach access steps away. Communication was excellent, and the home had a welcoming, relaxed feel. We would stay there again!

I won’t be able to write the review because you own the reservation. But here it is so you can copy and paste it. Title: Disappointing Stay – Dirty and Poorly MaintainedWe were very disappointed with this rental. We could hear guests on the east side walking around constantly. There were blood stains on pillows and mattress covers, stains on linens, and showers coated with soap scum and calcium buildup. The smaller couch smelled like urine when you sat on it, and we had to rewash dishes because they weren’t coming out clean. We messaged the host with these concerns but never received a response. Overall, the unit felt neglected and not up to Vrbo standards.

I am sorry that your stay did not live up to expectations. We ask that guests let us know immediately if there are any concerns as we truly want guests to have a wonderful stay and our cleaners would have returned to address any areas of concern the same day. When you reached out on the afternoon of the second day of your stay, I responded within the hour and asked if you would like our cleaners to return to address the issues that you had brought up, but you declined and requested compensation instead. I do treat guest concerns seriously so I did have our cleaners go through and do a deep clean of the home after your stay. I have steam cleaners come twice a year to steam clean the upholstery and I did ask them to come again after you raised concerns.
