Love staying here! Very clean, and quiet. Love having coffee on the porch in the morning and listening to the water and the geese. No cable, but quiet time with a book! Comfortable bed.

This was a fantastic vacation. The cabin was extraordinarily clean and well stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. Sandra was a great guide when taking me through the cabin and showing me where everything was. Don was an excellent communicator throughout the booking process. Both were very personable throughout the stay, even when I had to interrupt their pickleball game because I had accidentally locked myself out of the cabin! I look forward to many future stays here, it was quite relaxing.

The cabin was exactly what I hoped for--a comfortable and clean place to take my dog out of the city for a few days. The fenced in yard was more than adequate to keep my 80 lb dog contained (although he did obsess trying to chase toads in the yard). For me, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was generous, and the kitchen had all the appliances I needed for the stay. It was fun to sit on the deck and look out at the lake. The hosts were attentive, meeting me just as I arrived and making sure I had all the information I needed to make the most of my stay.

We had a very peaceful stay. Definitely a better choice than staying in a hotel room! The adorable cabin was clean and had everything we needed... including a fire ring and a lake right off the back porch. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the campground history. They made us feel welcome before we even got to the property. Love the fact that it is far enough from city life to stargaze, yet close enough to make a quick trip to town for supplies when needed. We will be coming back to stay next time we come to Michigan, for sure!

Perfect Cabin Getaway!This place is an absolute gem! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, the kind of people who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The cabin has such a cozy, rustic charm with beautiful outdoor spaces and a fantastic location for exploring everything the Bitely / Baldwin area has to offer.We also brought our dog and she had the time of her life! The fenced yard was perfect for letting her run around freely, which made the trip so much more relaxing for us too. Finding a truly dog-friendly rental is rare, and this one nailed it.We will 100% be back. Highest recommendation!

We were able to use both cabins on the property for the weekend. Each of them are adorable and have everything you need for the kitchen, extra bedding and lots of towels. The location is perfect for visiting Baldwin and the surrounding area and less than an hour to Ludington. We loved the campfire and watching the fountains in the lake while also seeing the beautiful sunsets. Our family was able to stop by and visit and we had lots of room. You could also bring your dog, the smaller cabin has a fully fenced yard! Don and Sandra were so kind and generous, and very quick to respond. I highly recommend either cabin. We will be back for sure! We are only sorry we didn't know about it sooner!

The Cabin was so cozy, just what I needed, for a peaceful getaway from the city life.. It was stocked well, and the a/c unit kept the cabin, nice and cool.. The bed was super comfortable.. Really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night.. Don and Sandra kept the firewood, well stocked.. And they were great with communication, about my stay.. They really made me feel like I was at home.. We had a nice experience staying here. Don was very kind and friendly.. he supplied all the amenities you’d be looking for except for TV and Wi-Fi. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. He had a stack of firewood with fire starters If you want to have a fire, there was a grill available upon request. It’s only 10 minutes from Baldwin. It’s a great jump off point for going to places like Leland Traverse City. We took a day and drove up M22 . We enjoyed exploring Michigan. I would rent it again

Awesome Place and Owners!

A Perfect Stay with Incredible Hosts! We traveled from Wisconsin to visit our son and stayed at this beautiful cabin—what an amazing experience! The owners went above and beyond. Although check-in wasn’t until 2 PM, we arrived early at 10 AM and were greeted outside with a warm welcome and told the cabin was ready for us. They walked us over, gave us a thorough tour, and assured us they were just a message away if we needed anything.The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything—bathroom essentials, kitchen supplies, even laundry items. It truly felt like a home away from home. Their kindness and hospitality made our visit even more special, and we didn’t want to leave!If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you’ll be more than happy. We already can’t wait to return!
