Truly EXCEPTIONAL!!! Easily the best VRBO stay we have ever had. Location, perfectly clean and just great all around. Off street parking is so amazing and if you are not familiar with Chicago parking it is worth it alone. Attention to detail is clear from the hosts to make your stay wonderful. Do your self a favor and stay here.

We loved our stay and had an excellent trip! The beds were extremely comfortable and there were an abundance of towels that all matched and were super comfortable. The bedrooms were very spacious and quiet. And the sofa was huge! Thanks for everything!

We had an excellent stay in September. It was an extended stay with two adults and a toddler. Plenty of space for everyone and a great neighborhood for walking with the water and a park close by. The hosts were wonderful and checked in throughout our stay to ensure we had what we needed, as well as quickly responding when I reached out with questions. This house also has one of the best stocked kitchens I have seen, which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Authentic Rogers Park experience

Rogers Park is a richly diverse and fascinating neighborhood and this place gives great access to what the neighborhood has to offer. It has good transportation to the rest of the north side and downtown. Expect urban funky and fun.

The house is really lovely, and it’s been thoughtfully and pleasantly decorated. The ceilings are high, which is a bonus. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped (an ice cream scoop would be a nice addition). The ice maker was off on our arrival, but it started producing ice a few hours after we turned it on.The neighborhood is very nice, and it was looking fine, with flowering trees and lilacs coming into bloom during our late-April visit. Many lush hostas have been planted in the sidewalk verge, and the lush lawn announces the care that goes into the maintenance of the property.No street noise filters into the house. However, we were aware of the upstairs neighbors trooping up and down the back stairs and walking around during the evenings. Overall, staying here was an excellent experience.Note: We didn’t have the need or opportunity to communicate with the hosts, but there’s no “NA” option in the rating system.

Loved this home in Rogers Park! We came from a recommendation from a friend that stayed with their family last summer and it lived up to the hype! Had tons of space, and a fully stocked kitchen. I was also glad the dinning area and living room had ample seating. Sometimes a place will sleep 8 or so, but only had dinning and living room space for half that. Also had an office space in the front room, that connected via doorway to the living room and one of the bedrooms which was very handy. We enjoyed a quick walk to the beach, Leone and Loyola, and the little bluebird cafe was great for casual food for our family. There was also a great playground next to the cafe. We traveled with our 13 and 9 year old and also meet up with their cousins ( 6 and 15 months) and the beach/playground situation was great! The front porch was also a favorite place to hang! Getting downtown was a bit of ordeal, but we knew it would be. From our experience, that’s just Chicago. If you want to spend a lot of time downtown, a hotel right downtown would be the way to go, but if you want a roomy place to spread out, enjoy the beach, and be a quick drive to places like Andersonville for the shops and restaurants, this was a great homebase!

Fantastic location, only a 9 minute walk from the red line. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good place to stay while still having access to the public transit of Chicago. Neighborhood is quiet, and while we did not use it ourselves, there is a dedicated parking space available.
