We loved the remote feeling of the area on St. Mary’s glacier. Our favorite activity was sitting on the deck enjoying the lovely view. The cabin itself is spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with most any amenities you need to get settled in, even coffee, which was much appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
Went here for a relaxing getaway with my husband and the pups. The dog run was much bigger than I expected and my dogs loved it! Everything was clean and well stocked. The host quickly responded whenever I initiated communication. Quiet property with everything you need. Definitely would come here again!

Thanks for your words, you guys were great to have and would love to have you back anytime!
Cabin was immaculate, and beautiful. The deck and the views were awesome! Spent all our time there! Made all our meals there. Kitchen was well equipped. Went hiking at Loch Lomond, which was just down the road. We had a great time, and our dog loved it too!
This is truly the nicest place we have ever stayed on vacation. The mountain home has modern amenities with a rustic ambience, in addition to scenery that is unbelievable!Ed keeps this home well stocked with many essentials and even has a huge washer and dryer! Not having to go to a laundromat or drag dirty clothes home is a nice perk.Ed contacted me and asked if there was anything we needed, He was available if we needed to contact him. He even personalized for us the primary bedroom with an old Missouri license plate. Nice touch! Having a ramp going down to the dog pen is awesome. Our old girl couldn't get back up, but someone with a younger pup would appreciate putting the dog on the deck with a closed gate, and letting the dog do his/her thing at their own convenience. The place was beautiful, and Ed could not have been kinder. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to return!

Thank you for your kind words, you were a great guest and would love to have you again anytime. I am glad you enjoyed the place.
This lovely log cabin has epic views of the mountains and valley from the living area and main bedroom, and was warm and comfortable in winter. The location was perfect—quiet and private, but only a few minute from the glacier trail and 25 minutes from downtown Idaho Springs. It was well-stocked with home comforts: cookware, condiments, and spices for making cozy meals and plenty of towels and blankets for cleaning up after a hike and cozying up.We will definitely be back to enjoy the porch overlooking the mountains, maybe with friends or relatives, or just us and our dogs!
The property was immaculate. I met the woman who turns the property over, and she did a great job and was so friendly as was her dog! I had one or two questions for the manager, and he was very easy to contact and was extremely helpful. Thank you, Ed and Khloe! I want to come back many times. It is a beautiful property.
Such a great little cabin in the mountains. Everything was perfect and the view was spectacular. There are so many things to do within a small radius. The host was very quick to answer any questions we had. I can't say enough good things about this cabin.
