Escape to a marvelous cabin in Gualala and unwind in this 2-bedroom retreat featuring 2 queen beds. With a cozy living room and a futon for additional space, guests can relax and recharge in style. Bedrooms are down stairs, living room kitchen and dinning table up stairs. Up stairs has a full deck and view of the ocean and whales in the spring and fall. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washing machine, heating, hair dryer, and star-link WiFi during your stay. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. We are close to town but remote enough for lots of privacy.
We are on the cliff with a view of the ocean. The local region is central to everything: small fun towns, great restaurants, dense redwoods, fishing, hike through many state parks, beach to explore everywhere and don't forget wineries too. A Large fire pit outside with lots of firewood. Winter is a great time for mushrooms, lots of mushrooms. Fall is perfect for wild blackberries everywhere. there is swimming and Kayaking on the gualala rivers and art shows every Aug. Summers are perfect weather for up there, for hiking, mt biking, surfing, beach combing and beautiful drives along the Ca coast line, rates top 10 drives in the USA.
Plan extra days as there is so much to do and see.

We built this home in 1985 as a family and use it for vacations now.
Gualala is a central hub to every great activity the coast has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Gualala is isolated on the coast with only Hwy 1 reaching from the north and south.
This HWY 1 is one of the top 10 most beautiful drives in the USA. We are close to town and restaurants and beaches , but away from any crowds. We are central to the best fishing, redwoods, beaches, hikes, surfing, lighthouses...... in 50 yrs I have still not seen all the cool adventures there are to explore. ask for the fun file. Mike
