​Hurricane Update:

The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.

Escape to this bright, airy, freshly remodeled second-floor 2BR/2BA waterview condo in the quiet Bay Watch community of Anna Maria Island. This gem has an open-concept interior and a tranquil Caribbean color palette of powder blue, driftwood gray, white, and sun-kissed aqua.

Sip your morning coffee on the east view balcony and watch the sunrise on the bay. Watch the boats sail up and down the waterway on their way to the Florida Keys and Tampa Bay. You’ll see dolphins and manatees right from your balcony. The heated pool and the Gulf of Mexico are on the west side of the condo. Stroll just 400 steps to sugary beaches where dolphins play daily. The prime location, near Cortez Bridge, is a highlight. Enjoy easy access to the mainland.

You’ll love the new granite chef’s kitchen and breakfast bar. Remodeled bathrooms have luxurious details. This modern condo is thoughtfully adorned with tasteful tropical art. The Anna Maria Island Retreat is a magical retreat for families, couples, and snowbirds alike.

Living:
The living area is a comfortable coastal haven; lux vinyl plank flooring throughout the condo is the color of driftwood. Smooth ceilings, recessed lighting, fine trim work emphasize elegance. Relax on the plush, linen-color sofa and loveseat to stream your favorite shows or movies on the wall-mounted Smart TV. Enjoy conversations with loved ones, or curl up with a good book. The large sofa is a Queen size sleeper.

No detail is overlooked in this inviting, island-time living space; the sofa throw pillows are embroidered with starfish and coral. The distressed, whitewashed style, wooden coffee table has maritime fixtures. Sliding glass doors from the living room open to a balcony overlooking Palma Sola Bay. Sip an evening cocktail in paradise amidst the fragrance of frangipani and salty sea breezes.

Kitchen/Dining:
The spacious, bright, new, fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream! Royal blue pendant chandeliers illuminate the swank breakfast bar. Prepare a tropical feast after a day at the beach. Store your provisions in abundant custom cabinetry. Gorgeous pale-gray granite countertops offer space for meal prep. A backsplash of rough-cut natural stone tiles adds texture and depth to the kitchen. Stainless steel appliances include a glass-top electric stove, oven, microwave, French door fridge with an icemaker, dishwasher, and double basin sink with extendable nozzle.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cookware, utensils, cutlery, dishware, glassware, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a blender, a chef’s caliber knife block, and more. The sleek granite breakfast bar at the kitchen pass-through window has elegant, high-back stool seating for three.

The open design of the kitchen/dining area ensures that a chef is never isolated from the group. This breakfast bar is a sublime spot to sip your morning cappuccino or fresh-squeezed citrus juice. Share a glass of wine with the chef during dinner prep.
Situated between the kitchen and living room is a grand dining table with seating for six, illuminated by a contemporary chandelier with teardrop crystals. This farmhouse style is sturdy, polished oak, with cream-colored hardwood chairs.

A single round wall mirror brightens and expands the dining space. Additionally, there’s outdoor, poolside picnic dining space available to you, as well as high-end patio furniture on the balcony.

Bedrooms/Baths:
The Anna Maria Island Retreat has two bedrooms, each with an ensuite full bathroom. These water-view bedrooms have large windows with shades, plenty of natural light, luxurious mattresses, and sumptuous bedding.

The King primary has a soothing ambiance with shades of cream and Caribbean blue. There are matching nightstands with sophisticated reading lamps, an elegant bureau with a large mirror, a wall-mounted SmartTV, a full–size mirror, and a stylish chandelier. Tropical decor and seascapes adorn the wall. Sliding glass doors open directly to the balcony. There’s a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom with a sleek double-sink granite vanity and a black granite make-up counter. This primary ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

The second bedroom boasts a palate of cream and sea mist and has one Queen bed and matching nightstands with reading lamps. There’s a large bureau with a mirror, a closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a single-sink granite vanity. The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Both bathrooms have luxury rain shower heads and hand-held shower wands, as well as plush bath towels, toiletries, and hair dryers. There’s a stackable washer/dryer in a closet off the Queen bedroom.

The Neighborhood:
The Bay Watch community, located in Bradenton Beach, nestled perfectly between the Gulf of Mexico and the Palma Sola Bay. Enjoy breathtaking views of both from the comfort of your own balcony. Watch the Cortez drawbridge in the morning as the sailboats pass through, or marvel at the ocean sunset every evening.

Ths Bridge Street shopping village famous for its beach shops, gift shops and boutiques is located within a short walk of the condo as well. There’s a great grocery store right on the island, a fantastic Wal-Mart SuperCenter 5 minutes from the condo and a great shopping mall with all the big department stores as well.

The Shoppes of Paradise Bay Plaza is just about .5 miles away and offers grocery shopping, restaurants, a Starbucks coffee shop, and a Dollar Tree store. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is a 19-minute drive (10.1 miles) south. Downtown Sarasota and St Armands Circle are about a 30-minute drive south, which is a great place for watching a sunset from a rooftop bar and casual and upscale dining and shopping.

Longboat Key, Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island have fantastic restaurants and beachside activities such as boat rentals, sunset cruises, jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals. Don't forget a trip to downtown Bradenton on the Manatee River with bars, dining, and Village of the Arts. The Village of the Arts is an eclectic live-work community of colorful historic cottages that house everything from award-winning restaurants to specialty shops, studios, healing arts, bakeries, and Bradenton’s best art galleries.
