About the host
Hosted by Wes Mentele or Darin Lund

My wife and I were born and raised in SD. We have 3 children. We have loved visiting the Black Hills for many years with our family. We love outdoor activities and nature. We currently live in southeast SD, but take every chance to visit the Black Hills. It has been our dream to have a Black Hills cabin and are happy to share our piece of heaven with you.
Why they chose this property
The Rochford Area is truly beautiful and peaceful. We love to bike, snowmobile, hike, hunt, and ride ATV's and this location offers us all of these activities and more.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with our cabin when we first saw it. We are able to listen to Rapid Creek run through our front yard and view the surrounding mountains of the Black Hills from our deck. The kids love sledding and playing on the 3 acres and the surrounding National Forest. There are several ATV trails close to the property. There is a nearby campground just a few miles down the road and there is direct access to the Black Hills snowmobile trail system there. Skiing is just 25 minutes up the road.
