Welcome to Casa Lago! This beautiful home, open for guests for the first time, offers comfort, space, and a stunning natural backdrop with direct private access to Smith Mountain Lake.

Casa Lago sits on one of the most private lots on the lake, with over 1000 ft of shoreline on a no wake cove with a large fixed and floating dock. Enjoy the 10 acres of privacy with beautiful views of the lake, kayaks, paddleboards and a canoe for guest use, and ample space both indoors and out. Ideally located from top attractions- including beaches, wineries, golf courses and charming local spots- you’ll have the best of the region right at your doorstep. Whether coming to relax, explore, or enjoy the local flavors, this is the perfect home base for your stay.

The chef's kitchen is stocked, the propane grill is ready for a cookout on the deck, the beds are comfortable, and the house offers ample space for members of large groups to have their own sense of space. The screened porch, deck and patio are all well furnished for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and the panoramic views of the lake are simply stunning! Unwind around the fire pit or indoor fireplaces as you take in the serene surroundings.

This beautifully appointed home has 5 bedrooms and 3 flex rooms (see additional photos for flex room photos) allowing us to accommodate up to 18 guests. There 10 beds total (3 King beds, 1 Queen beds, 1 Full/Double, 1 Twin Bunk, 3 Queen sleepers, 1 Twin Sleeper). There are also 2 "Nugget" play couches for littles to sleep on in a pinch!

Staying in our fair share of short term rentals ourselves, we understand what it takes to make someone's vacation special and memorable. We have done as much as possible to think of everything we could to help you relax and just soak it all in. Enjoy time together in the inviting living rooms with 65”+ Smart TVs. For added fun and recreation, the converted garage serves as a vibrant gathering area with a gorgeous Billiards table as well as a 4-in-1 game table stocked and ready for your next match of cards, chess, checkers, or roulette. Have a small child with you? Take advantage of the mini pack and play, changing pad, Baby Bjorn bouncer, booster chair and kid cups, plates, bowls, bibs and silverware. Legos and board games are available as well as a variety of reading materials.

All beds have linens provided. All bathrooms have towels and washcloths provided along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If you have any additional suggestions during your stay, we would love to hear what we can add.

Enjoy uninterrupted comfort even during storms or local outages! Our home is equipped with a full-house generator, ensuring your stay is always powered, cozy, and worry-free. While the area is known for occasional power outages, you can rest easy knowing you’ll have consistent electricity, heating, and cooling for the perfect getaway no matter the weather.

Booking Information: Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Due to the lengthy turn over process, early check-in/late check-out is not available. It’s quite an undertaking for the cleaners!!

Enjoy a contactless check-in, directly at the property with the a custom front door code, just for your stay. As a guest, you have access to the entire house with the exception of a few owner’s closets which are secured with smart locks.

We’d love for you to enjoy the water during your stay! While the boat lift isn’t available for guest use, you’re welcome to tie your boat to the cleats on either the fixed or floating docks—many of our guests do just that.

Also due to the slope, direct boat launch access is not available from the property, but we recommend using one of the convenient public boat launch sites in the area.
