After a day at the ocean (only two short blocks away) relax on either the upper deck or the lower deck while you enjoy watching the activity on Rehoboth Bay. You will see sailboats, kayaks, paddleboards etc. Or, instead of going to the ocean, enjoy the property’s small private beach on the Bay. Within an easy walk are all the unique shops, restaurants, attractions and activities of Dewey Beach. You won’t need your car all week because you can take the Jolly Trolley to the outlet stores and nearby Rehoboth Beach; just leave your car in your two reserved parking spaces. Your vacation house is fully equipped for comfort and utility. The spacious, open concept, living area is on the second floor; it has a fantastic view of the Bay and opens to the second floor deck which is set up for dining. Enjoy the plush sofas, premium cable TV, new kitchen and expandable dining table. Your away-from-home office is on the first floor, in the spacious foyer; just connect your laptop to the extra fast wi-fi. Both bedrooms are on the first floor; each has a private bathroom. The main bedroom opens to the first floor deck; it has a queen-sized bed, TV, walk-in closet and two sinks in the bathroom. The second bedroom has a pyramid bed with a trundle and TV. This is a great choice for a family or two couples sharing their beach vacation.
Bedrooms on first floor, spiral staircase to second floor/living area. 2 parking spaces. NO SMOKING NO PETS, Saturday to Saturday rental, Parking for 2 cars. Occupancy of 6 Beds: Queen, Pyramid Bunk, and Twin Trundle. NO GROUP RENTAL PER HOA.

An important feature of this property was left out

The photos and descriptions of this unit failed to point out- 1. No railing on the entry stairs. 2. Access to the second floor is visa circular stairway. 3. Good view of the bay but direction of view didn’t provide seeing the sunsets. This property is not suitable for seniors. A minor item - deck furniture hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The vertical blinds in the master bedroom should have been installed to permit being opened and closed while totally open. Twelve plus blinds had come off during previous occupancy and I had to get on a chair to rehang them.

Overall great!

I think the place was nicer in person than the pics showed. Easy check in process. The linen service was awesome. The location was close to the beach (a short walk). It was within walking distance to restaurants, a little store to get quick grocery items, a shop to get beach souvenirs and a liquor store. Also within walking distance to a kayaking/stand up paddle board rental. We had a great stay. Saturday was a young college crowd (which was expected), but the rest of the week was pretty low key.

Delightful view

Our family of 4 spent a relaxing week here in Dewey- enjoyed the view of the Bay and the proximity to the ocean (2 block walk). Fun activities and explored nearby Rehoboth and Lewes as well.
