Clean, cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for an easy stay. We loved the location close to Audubon park and Magazine Street. Don't miss a meal at Saba!
It was great to get a good night’s sleep in this comfy bed in a cool and dark room. The location was fabulous. Easy walk to the zoo or excellent restaurant Patois or Audubon Park or Starbucks.

Great accommodations in a wonderful neighborhood.
We had a brief stay in New Orleans for 2 days and loved our visit. The property owner was very friendly and we found him very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and it was a very easy walk to magazine street and great local restaurants. We would stay here again.

Thank you again for staying. It was great having you. Come back again soon.
Location was perfect...walked in Audubon Park everyday. Easy stroll to Magazine St shops and restaurants. Close to things but out of the fray. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Place was clean and had literally everything we needed. Washer/dryer was an added bonus for a 5 day stay. Plenty of space to spread out relax. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
Shared a wonderful weekend in NOLA with family in this lovely apartment away from the NOLA hubbub but easily accessible to the hubbub when desired. Easy walk to a few shops/ restaurants and Audubon Park
Located on a quiet street in walking distance from restaurants, beautiful Audubon Park, and close enough to major roads for access. Property is spacious, comfortable, with all amenities and extra supplies provided. Host was helpful and accommodating, property has everything you need. Will definitely stay here again.
The place was perfect for my wife, myself, our 9 year old and our 7 year old. Not far from Whole Foods, Starbucks and local restaurants. Very comfortable and homey. The host was very helpful and a great resource to use when you are in NOLA.
We have stayed in numerous rentals in New Orleans. This one was very clean and comfortable for my husband and me. Had everything we could have wanted or needed. Very desirable location and communication with the owner was great. We will definitely be back.
The place was great for us. Walking distance to the zoo and Magazine St. Shops & restaurants. Short Lyft rides to the French Quarter. Nice outdoor area to relax with a coffee or adult beverage. Rob was very accommodating with check-in/check-out and made sure we had what we needed during the stay.
I love this location! It is a perfect spot for the family. You are walking distance from the Audubon Park / zoo, streetcar access, grocery store and some fantastic restaurants. The houses around here are beautiful. You don’t need to drive around at all. Everything is within walking distance.
The house was great for my wife and two young kids! I loved the art, comfortable beds, vinyl and quiet outside space. Rob was a fantastic host. I would definitely return to this spot. I am absolutely in love with this area of magazine street. 10/10
Our stay was perfect for three people. The house had everything we needed and more. The binder had plenty of specifics and recommendations. There were umbrellas handy, since you never know what weather is coming in NOLA. We stayed for a graduation, and the proximity to Audubon Park, Tulane, and Magazine street was ideal. It’s too far to walk to the French quarter or the streetcar, but we had a car. There was parking in the driveway. Check in and out was seamless. Rob was a great host to work with. I highly recommend this property.
I never say much on these reviews so I’ll be keeping this short. My wife and I took our teen to see Tulane. We were coming from Florida - So we were in-and-out pretty quickly. This house is super cozy and well thought out. The bed was comfortable and the linens were amazing. Our host added all the touches that most places forget. Things like solid appliances and utensils. An umbrella. Water and a phone charger on the nightstand. A record player and some records. (OK - so they were mostly Hall & Oates - but still fun). The list goes on. The ONLY things I can critique are the shower is in one room and the toilet sink in another. But this can be VERY handy when two+ are trying to get ready. And the wash/dry are in the open. This is an apartment - if you want the Ritz - go to the Ritz. I could live in this space, forever, and be perfectly happy. Just needs some food in the fridge. Next time - I want to see the neighborhood - because it looked very cool! I forgot that the “to do” book that was left was amazing. I only looked at it as we packed to leave.
From the check in process until we left it was obvious the owner put a tremendous amount of time and money into this unit. Absolutely everything you need and its all new. Kitchen with all the appliances, washer/dryer, very comfortable living room with a large tv, record player (loved it), spacious bedrooms. List goes on. A block from Magazine street and Audubon Park. We will stay here every time we are in NOLA.
This was an ideal home for 3 adults. The place was very clean, beds very comfortable, and all the amenities one could want for a great long weekend in NOLA. Rob is a gracious host and very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot!
My husband and I stayed here along with our four year old and 11-month-old twins. It was the perfect location for us within walking distance of many cool shops restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to whole foods. Location was great. Bedrooms were big enough to put in pack and please and have separate areas for the kids versus adults. The house had everything we needed we didn't need to buy anything extra which was great. Rob is a great host.
We stayed at this location for over a week and it was a perfect location off of magazine St in uptown New Orleans and by the park. Clean and comfy apartment.

Fantastic location
Really nice location within a short walk to Audubon Park and several nice restaurants. The courtyard needs a lot of work, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and our host is an excellent communicator.

About the host
Hosted by Rob Steinberg
I have had a love affair with this city for 35 years, ever since starting Tulane in 1977. Three years ago, I returned to New Orleans to reclaim it as my home. I spent ten years in New York working in the music industry, followed by twenty years in Los Angeles focusing on work in the film and television industries. I was fortunate enough to graduate from Tulane University 1981 and fell in love with the food, the music, and the culture of The Crescent City.
Why they chose this property
Just two blocks from the beautiful sanctuary that is Audubon Park and yet just moments away from the wonder and excitement of the Warehouse District's clubs, the French Quarter's venues and Frenchman St. And only minutes to Tipitina's and Tulane University. Why wouldn't I want to live here? Why wouldn't I want to share that with wonderful people looking for a wonderful place to stay?
What makes this property unique
I was lucky enough to purchase a beautiful 100 year old craftsman home October 2012 near to my favorite places to visit in the most beautiful city I have ever lived in. Pleasantly, my home is just above two apartments that I have taken the time to meticulously renovate, improve and furnish so that I might share this magical city with friends, both new and old.
