We stayed for 11 nights in September 2026 and were very impressed from the moment we arived, Super clean with all rooms larger than we imagined and every detail was thought of to ensure a comfortable stay was provided along with consise instructions if required. This place is easy to find. Tucked in the back of a neighborhood but very quiet and peaceful. A lot of tall pines surround the property in the back so it genuinely feels like you are in the woods. There is a 2 level deck in the back and a big fire pit with pleny of seating. Nice decor, A roku on a few of the rooms. Beds are comfortable. We brought our 2 small dogs and there a lot of dog friendly beaches and parks all within close distance from the home. Communication with Kaylan was quick and check in and check out were a breeze. I would recommend.

Awesome newly redone property. Easily parked our boat in the drive, close to both Higgins and Houghton Lake. We are avid road cyclists and the location allowed us to take off each morning for 25-40 mile rides on beautiful paved roads. Highly recommend this property. Will definitely reserve property again if we are looking for a rental in this area.

Just got home from our stay at naughty in the woods wow an amazing spot if you’re into using side-by-side or riding the trails at Houghton Lake. Great location, conveniently located by plenty of bars and restaurants auto parts stores and a Walmart. Only 1.2 miles from the Denton Creek trailhead which is a blast. It offers great trails in great scenery. When we got done, we lit a fire outback, and sat and laughed about all the time we had on the trails. We will definitely be back a great spot!
