Great spot on Mullet Lake thats easy access to the lake (public access is a 1/4 mile away), inland waterway, and all kinds of activities within an hour of this cottage. The hosts are great and extremely responsive. Already planning on returning next year.

Cottage was very clean. Great location on the lake nice sandy beach for swimming. Very friendly owners and were very helpful. I would highly recommend staying there.

very complicated review. So many things were 5 *. Yet some very basic issues were not addressed.Two property managers interfaced, both professional and user friendly.Helpful with boat trailer storage, garage to use, lots of water toys to use.Clean inside, it is an up north cabin/home, so everything doesn't match, and you don't want it to. Furniture no longer was supportive, but could be managed with a pillow.Quick to fix a shower issue, and appreciated.The big grown was the TV. It did not work.....but it did, sometimes. It had to warm up. Sometimesd 15 minutes, sometimes an hour. And you had to shut it off to turn it on. It had been an issue for sometime but owner did not fix or replace. Paying 285 day one would think a 100 Walmart special would be in the budget, but apparently not.Also, the last few days found an infestation of centipedes in bath and kitchen. Again, an up north cabin but a pest service would be a benefit.

Thank you for your feedback Wally. We want all our guests to have a 5 star experience and that clearly did not happen your week. Please accept our apology for that. We appreciated your patience with us as we dealt with issues and are sorry we never resolved the TV situation. It was acting up and we found later our settings were scrambled. It appears to be a cottage owner error (we aren't very techy). We plan to have someone on standby for TV/cable questions and are already on the hunt for a more user friendly cable service for next year. We've never had a report from guests about an abnormal amount of bugs (especially centipedes). We typically do not rent so late in the summer, so perhaps those cold nights we were having had them seeking warmth. We will try to identify the source and rectify that problem. Thank you for staying with us and for your honesty so we can improve stays at our cottage. Sincerely, Steph J.

This place was perfect for our little family of 4. It is right on the water and my kids really enjoyed swimming and playing on the dock. The marina is just a few minute walk from the cottage. We were able to walk there for ice-cream and fishing (we of course asked the people that worked there for permission and went after they were closed).The host/owners are so kind they brought treats for the kiddos and even lend bikes to my kids to use while we were there. Thank you so much, we had a blast!

Great stay at Mullet Lake

This property is older but very nice and right on the lake with a boat dock that we used and was very happy with. The owner was outstanding to talk to and work with. The parking is somewhat limited for a larger or trailer vehicle but the owner had a place for our boat trailer next door so it was all good. Great folks !!Loved our stay! And the fishing is excellent for rainbow trout, walleye, bass and pike. So beautiful and so clean and peaceful property. This rental was the best equipped that we have ever stayed in, she had everything you could want for. We highly recommended this owner and property!!

The cottage was clean and comfortable with added amenities including A/C, washer, dryer, dishwasher and a detached garage for parking/storage. We loved the beautiful views of the lake from the back room or deck. We spent plenty of time on the dock and in the shallow, warm and sandy bottom water, just steps from the patio doors. We walked down to and rented a jet ski from Jack’s Marina one day and snuck a round of golf in at Mullet Lake Golf Club across the street on another. Also took a day trip to Mackinac Island for the first time since we were staying so close. Cheboygan being a 10min drive was convenient for groceries. We are already considering this property again for next summer!

Cottage was very lovely-perfect for two to four people. A/C was a plus! Nice dock, spacious rooms and garage to store items if needed. Up North charm at its best. Stephanie was wonderful to work with-communication was smooth from booking to check in and check out. Would definitely stay again! :)
