This house was a really good size for our families coming together to spend three days. Plenty of beds. Huge kitchen. The lake is great! We would come again, for sure!

Beautiful setting. On a beautiful lake with paddle boards provided. Good for indoor and outdoor eating, and firepit for roasting marshmallows. Large, very usable kitchen, well equipped with high quality, new appliances. Bedding for 12; three of the bedrooms are connected. Simple house access and rules. Excellent air conditioning system. Plenty of family board games and jigsaw puzzles, along with a large screen tv.

We stayed at this unique property for a family vacation, and our experience was amazing! We especially loved the two separate indoor hangout spaces, which were stocked with lots of games, a pool table, and air hockey. The easy access to the lake—with a paddle boat, two paddle boards, and life jackets—was a big plus. The views from the decks were beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed playing games and relaxing while watching the kids have fun in the water. The short drive to South Haven made it easy to enjoy the beach as well. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing family getaway in Michigan!

Communication with host was excellent, very responsive to VRBO threads and normally answered quickly. The home was very clean, but due to being on a well/septic system you do get a strong smell once in awhile. There were a few nails sticking out of hardwood floor that almost cut a few toes, had to hammer them back down.Pots/Pans were dirty and caked with old food, had to scrub them prior to use.Not really a five bedroom house, kinda misleading in the description. Two full private bedrooms, then to get to 4th bedroom you have to walk thru 3rd and to get to 5th, you have to walk thru 3rd and 4th. No doors seperating the rooms, simply curtains. We made do, but were expecting the privacy of at least 4 bedrooms. Lake area could use some cleaning up and landscaping for better use. Overall, enjoyed our time but would not rent again for family use unless you want to share 3 sleeping quarters.
