The Highland Hideaway is the perfect little getaway for couples, families, or anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature. This top floor condo has 1 queen bed, the loft area has two twin fold out beds, kitchenette area, dining area, and living room. Enjoy peaceful mornings with some coffee on our top deck and listen to the sounds of birds and wildlife roaming around, After a day of exploring our many trails on the property come back and unwind in the hottub under the stars!

The highland hideaway was absolutely adorable! It was perfect for a short stay and would be happy to stay longer. It may be the cleanest vrbo I’ve stayed in. Very quiet and peaceful. Before you leave, give yourself the challenge of guessing how many Highland cows are in the property!

We truly loved our stay at the Highland Hideaway!!! Very clean and cute place!! Everything you could need or want while your away from home The hot tub was amazing !! The owners are great people and made sure our stay was perfect!! 🤩 we will definitely be back!! Plus the bonus is that we was able to walk up to the camels they have and was able to feed them and have our pictures taken with them !

The house was very clean and loved that we could bring our dogs with us. The location is very peaceful. We loved our visit with the camels. The host is very responsive and friendly.

The beautiful mountains, hiking trails, wildlife, and serenity have been the best parts of being here.

What makes this property unique

The livestock make my property unique: we have 4 camels which are down the road further past the rentals — you would not know they were there, but if you would like to meet them, you can arrange with your host a Meet the Camels experience complete with facts, pictures, and a chance to feed them their favorite treats. Advance booking for Meet the Camels is needed *only as available with farm staff and so long as regularly scheduled camel events don’t interfere.
