Perfect Location

My wife and I loved the cozy cabin for our stay in Tofino. The proximity to Chesterman beach was ideal, especially in the unpredictably rainy season. The Hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring in the rain.

False advertising

The place sucked. Major false advertising. The hot tub was broken. They tried to pin it on us big confrontation. The general property manager was not helpful. It also gave us a number to the old property manager, so we’re phoning around 500 different people to get an answer nobody showed up until Sunday morning as we were leaving to tell us that the pump has been broken for a while and nothing but animosity and crap from the host owner of the house.The company Verbo was outstanding. As soon as I had issues with the host, Verbo was instantly in communication with me and I felt safe and secure with my financial information with Verbo. The fact there is a third-party between myself and the host that is in control of the financial information is a big relief because I felt this host Would try to charge me with artificial charges and try to get me to pay for the hot tub.150% I would use Verbo again, but I would stay clear of this host and this property because it was nonstop issues and confrontations

Surf Shack

We enjoyed our stay at the Surf Shack. It is just steps from access to Chesterman Beach and ten minutes from the town of Tofino. The shack was anything but, in fact a nice cottage that was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the tot tub. We recommend the Surf Shack.

Perfect base to explore Tofino!

Stayed 4 nights at the Surf Shack; could have easily have stayed longer. The grounds were beautiful and the beach access extremely close. Also, the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after hiking, kayaking, and exploring!

Lovely, Private, and Excellent Location

Aside from the low ceiling in the bedroom (my partner is 6'5" and had to duck a little!), our stay was awesome. The private garden, outdoor shower, hot tub, and songbirds made our stay special. Beach access is right across the street, and the bed was comfortable. All amenities were available including extra soft blankets and hot tub shoes. :) The host was attentive but in no way overbearing. I really hope I can come back some time!!

Just as good the second time!

A well-appointed, spotless, rustic cabin a two-minute walk from Chesterman Beach. Perfect for two people. It was our second visit to this location. Bring or rent your bikes to ride the new trail from Tofino to Ucluelet and then relax in the hot tub. Clean, quiet, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Peaceful property

It was a lovely quaint property, the private back yard was lovey, the attention to detail was noticed, it was the perfect place to wake up with the ocean sounds and birds. Would definitely recommend and book again! Loved the short walk to the beach, enjoyed many beach walks.

What an amazing place to stay! Seconds from the beach, hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking, super cute shack perfect for 2, clean with "everything" you could ever need! Will definitely stay there again when we return to Tofino!

Had a very lovely time at the surf shack, equipped with everything you need to decompress, great bathroom products and atmosphere. Would recommend staying here and plan on coming back.

Excellent Stay for our 25th Anniversary

The cabin was so cozy, uniquely decorated and fully equipped with anything and everything you could ever need during your stay, the cabin was immaculately spotless clean, the hot tub felt so good after our long bike ride, walking the beach and being so close was exactly what we were looking for. So close to town, had a great Anniversary dinner at The Shelter. Highly recommend the Surf Shack
