Enjoy the up north feel with 8 acres a campfire & 360 degrees of wooded views. Perfect basecamp to hit the trails, explore day trips to Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Locks, & so much more! Come stay, it's time to relax and enjoy life a little up north style!
Quiet country setting — yet only 4 miles from town and the Mackinac Island ferries.
Experience that true “Up North” feel surrounded by peaceful woods, nature’s sounds, and starry skies. This spacious, family-friendly home now sleeps up to 13 guests and offers everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Stay cool with central air — a rare luxury in St. Ignace — and enjoy the comfort of a whole-home Generac for peace of mind year-round. The full kitchen makes home-cooked meals easy, from romantic dinners to family feasts.
The open-concept main level features a large living room, French doors to the dining area, and a cozy sitting space for games, meals, and conversation — all with serene wooded views.
For 2026, we’re adding a 5th bedroom and a second large living room/gameroom on the terrace level, giving even more space for everyone to spread out and relax.

Set on 8 private wooded acres, this home is ideal for exploring the best of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula — Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, the Soo Locks, and endless hiking and snowmobile trails. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a couples’ getaway, or a friends’ trip, this peaceful retreat is the perfect Up North escape to relax and reconnect.
Guests have access to entire home accept unfinished basement area and shed.

We will provide a bundle of wood but please be sure to burn responsibly.
WINTER STAYS - Please note this home is located on a small ridge. Driveway is plowed and sanded when necessary but AWD or 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter stays. PLEASE ALSO NOTE- If you have a trailer with ATVs, please contact us before arrival for instructions on where it is best to park.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT LAKEFRONT PROPERTY: We are close to a lot of lakes but do not have direct lakefront access from our property. The beautiful beach dunes are located on Lake Michigan approximately 15 minutes west on US2 and there are two cute parks downtown St. Ignace on Lake Huron perfect for picnics and watching the boats and ferries:)
