We stayed in this home for a wedding weekend. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had a comfortable stay . The pool was a great bonus as well .
We loved the quiet neighborhood and location with nearby shopping/ grocery store. Check in was easy. House was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the pool and deck immensely. Very nice host.
Got together with few old high school buddies for the Great South Bay Music Festival and AC’s place was a great place to stay! It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks again AC.
Great location near 495 and a shopping plaza. Felt safe in neighborhood, no issues. Able to access Long Island Rail to get in to the city about ten miles away. Really can’t say enough about location as long as you don’t need to be right in the city or on the beach. Didn’t stay in the house long during trip but had all the basics we needed. Was able to reach the owner with an issue that we solved quickly. Tremendous value. Would stay here again.
Three adult males stayed at this residence and worked in Shirley for three days. It was a lot more comfortable than a hotel and convenient. The rooms were spacious, and the host was gracious. The beds were a little lumpy, and the duct tape on the window was a little loud.

Hello, thank you for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed our place that has many great reviews because people enjoy location and comfortability in terms of the duct tape on the window. I don't understand what you are mentioning since all the windows in the house are brand new. In terms of the bed we buy Pillow top high-end mattresses from Braymore Flanigan and people always complement how soft and comfortable. They are opposed to sleeping on a hard cheap mattress. Thank you for your time and hope to see you soon again.

We had to make do
Nothing special. This property served its purpose, though sleeping capacity was not entirely accurate. Bring your own pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Some windows do not close completely or lock.

Such nonsense and retaliatory.
We have a super stocked kitchen.
Maybe if you cannot find stuff, give a call the first day you arrive that complain after you leave.
I am sorry you could not bring your pet, but we have a strick policy
In terms of sleeping capacity, we list correctly that we have one queen bed until full size bed and it’s up to you to decide how you want to use it.
Obviously, you brought more people in than you claims on your booking. We are here to make people happy.
Stayed over for 2 nights with my family (4 of us in total). Didn't use the pool but the rooms, dining area and hall are amazing. The house is very well furnished, even the loft bed was very comfortable for 2 people to sleep in. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. The owner is very nice and responds almost immediately.
The only drawback is there is only one bathroom but it wouldn't any issues if you have a group of 4 or less.
Thanks a Ton AC :)

Thank you we really appreciate you and we hope to see you back
The owner was nice when she changed my reservation two weeks before and credited me. The garbage can were open with no lids so there was garbage on the driveway and the smell was awful. The pool pavers need to be fixed someone if going to get hurt. The bottom rack on the dishwasher need to be replaced. The kitchen is small but fully stocked. Outside there was a charcoal and gas grill. The house had an ant problem. The upstairs loft floor was warped. The location is nice, close to stores and main roads. The neighborhood was nice.

Nikki writes a RETAlITORY review is the headline here. She brought a large dog even though we have a non- pet policy to avoid allergies for future guests and did not charge a pet-fee .In addition she had friends over with dogs. My property manager made me aware of this.. of course too late to change. During her stay she never complained about anything but wrote all this nit picking fiction.
It is sad that guests who BREAK the rules always have to resort to imaginary stories.
The House has been rented for many seasons with happy guests .
We arrived on a Friday to a house that was infested by ants. We first noticed that there was an infestation of ants in the bay window in the living room and thought it was odd. We then put our bags down in the bedrooms and went out for a couple hours. When we came back our bags full of clothes were now covered in ants and when we peeled back the bedding there were ants in the bed too. We called the host who told us he was aware of the issue and was considering cancelling our reservation but decided not to for some reason. He sent over a cleaning lady who was unable to do anything about the ants, because she isn’t an exterminator, but she was able to pull a wad of hair out of the filthy shower for us. There were many other issues with the house on top of the ant infestation.
We told the host we would not be staying here for even a single night and then he stopped responding to us for 24 hours. We contacted Vrbo about this to get a refund and the host is now refusing to issue us a refund and calling us liars. He is saying we are lying because there was rain in the forecast and we wanted our money back (which is totally untrue. The weather was beautiful all weekend and we stayed at a hotel just up the road from the Vrbo listing). The reality is his house is absolutely filthy and has an ant infestation that he was aware of and is now refusing to acknowledge. Do not rent this house and do not rent from this host, you will regret it.

Do not book this group.
They came in use the beds in the bathroom and the showers and then they decided it was not for them and then they expected me to pay for them the whole weekend. They even left without negotiation made up stories about the place not being clean. I said my cleaning person I might probably manage to talk with them and they could not point out what the problem was. in any outdoor notification facility always see if you have my own house which is brand new. These folks are good to stay at hotels where they can complain and try to get a free night but not here. They are just upset that they did not get a refund , don't buy into the nonsense. We have many great reviews.

Comfortable
The house was comfortable but not welcoming. It provided everything we needed but the furniture and decorations are all mismatched there is no overall theme in the house except for "garage sale". There are things that need to be fixed such as the laundry room door would not close which allowed cold air to get in the house. Overall, the whole house needs a good cleaning. The bedroom had a pair of children's shorts hanging from the curtain rod, items under the beds.
Pro: owner is very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner
Cons: house is dated. Pavers surrounding pool are broken and can be a tripping hazard and back deck is pretty worn. Ants crawling on top of deck chairs, bring your own outdoor chairs.
Overall, we rented the house for the pool, which we enjoyed
The pool was really nice, great porch area and the house was very clean!!
The location is right next to the supermarket and restaurants! Perfect set up.
Didn’t really like having the guy living on the property, a few times we were outside he was on the porch smoking and it made it awkward to swim just because we were a little uncomfortable. His apt is attached to the house, and my thought was it was in the back off of the house so I was a little surprised.. but it is in the details of the property so that was my fault for misunderstanding. Otherwise, he was of not bother to us.
We loved the fact we had several eating areas. It was not warm enough to swim but the pool was very clean. I like the nieghborhood. Quiet, but close to the highway.
The owner is attentive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. He could toss half of the knickknacks that are basically just collecting dust and upgrade the bedding and then the place would get a major upgrade.
There is plenty of room for a legend family and the kitchen is well stocked.
One other suggestion would be to overhaul the yard to get rid of all the weeds and junk in the back of the yard.
We travelled to AC’s place for a weekend this past summer. Super accommodating and the house was very comfortable. Pool was an added bonus. Would stay again!
My family of 4 stayed at this property and it was perfect. The 2 bedrooms on the first floor were great and having the loft bedroom was great. We didn't get to use the pool, but in the summer that would be a plus. The location is great as it is between the 2 major east/west highways on Long Island. The neighborhood was quiet, which is a plus. The house was in good condition, if you are planning to do any significant cooking I would bring your own pots and pans. The selection was sparse and pretty scratched up. Overall the property was exactly what we needed and would be perfect for a small family.
