Great place to stay
This is a great place to stay being only 5 minutes from the downtown area! Secluded enough for it to be quiet and private. My family loved the space and appreciated how well it was furnished, particularly the kitchen! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Thank you so very much. We really try to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible. You are welcome back anytime.
We LOVED this cabin! It's a beautiful home and had plenty of space for our family to spread out. The kids enjoyed playing outside and climbing on all the rocks!

Erica, thank you for your kind review. My wife Kim truly works hard to provide a clean home for our guests and she always wants to have all the kitchenware needed to prepare the meals. We love the large rocks too!!
We had the best time at our Grand Lake getaway and the house was absolutely perfect for our diverse group! It was spacious, well-appointed with everything we needed and clean. We really enjoyed having coffee on the wraparound deck and the proximity of the house to everything we wanted to do while we were visiting! We will definitely be back!
Still dreaming about this incredible home! We loved everything about this property. Plenty of room for our large group, lots of flat space for our kids to play, and a great location. I like to cook on our trips and the kitchen was fully stocked, they even had aprons! We’d gladly stay here again.
This home was spotless, roomy, and had everything we needed for a long weekend reunion with our immediate family. The new deck was especially nice. The location was great for access to the lake and town, but far enough from the road (in a pine and aspen grove) to be quiet.

It was wonderful! The house had everything we needed for our party of 8, 3 whom were children. We must have used all bits of the property including the fire pit and the swing. Enjoyed the antics of the chipmunks. We hiked the area and rented a pontoon from the marina. We did a little shopping too! We were there for 3 nights.

Emily (Grandma), Kim and I are so happy everyone enjoyed your stay at our house. We appreciated the sketches you shared and they were enjoyed immensely by Kim and I. The fire pit with the huge boulders surrounding it was a project Kim and I took on one summer and we too love just to sit around that and stare into the fire. Best regards, Nelson & Kim
The house was exactly what was promised. The host Kim without hesitation accompanied us with a request for lawn chairs. My daughter accidentally left a pair of head phones in the house. Kim immediately worked on notifying us about the item and assisted with the return. I will definitely rent the house again!
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Very well stocked and spacious home! Our family enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and wildlife that were in the yard throughout the day. We saw deer and a woodchuck too! We would definitely stay again!
We visited the area for the first time with friends. The house was very clean and had plenty of space! Kitchen was well stocked. Really enjoyed my coffee on the deck and watching the chipmunks and humming birds. We would definitely stay again!
Very clean with everything you could need. Beds were comfy. Nice to have parking in a double garage (since there was a marmot living close by!). Great access to shopping, restaurants and the wonderful hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park all just a few miles away.
The house is only two miles from the town, a perfect blend of solitude and accessibility. Lovely porch, yard, and open floor plan. Enjoyed it very much. Did feel that, given the cleaning fee we paid, we had to do a lot of tasks upon leaving.

Birthday weekend!
Such an amazing home! Plenty of sleeping space and place for people to sit! One of the best homes we’ve stayed in! Owners were very kind and generous with us! Super comfy beds and plenty of games for our family to play! The labels made it easy for clean up and plenty of extra towels and blankets! Would highly recommend for anyone with a family! Bonus big tub in the master bathroom!
We were 7, 4 adults, 3 kids. House was clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners thought of everything! Place is superbly equipped! Our friends were pleasantly surprised to even find a pack and play for their youngest. Location is great - minutes from RMNP entrance, lakes and hikes in the Indian Peaks Wilderness as well. We all highly recommend this home.
Amazing home. Everything they promise and more. Every day was a new adventure. We had a moose visit one day and deer almost every other. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds and other creatures. Do not forget your camera!
I recently stayed at this rental house and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of amenities, including tons of seasonings. The bathrooms were fully stocked with shampoos, hand soap, and other essentials. They also provided games, and washer detergent, which added to the convenience and comfort of our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Overall, this rental provided a comfortable and enjoyable home base for our trip. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful home, not exactly what we thought...
The house is beautiful on the inside. Lots of plates and dishes. The pots and pans need to be replaced. Having a big, open garage available to us was great - we just left our gear in it.
The fire pit in the rocks is really wonderful - a highlight of the property. We enjoyed the hummingbird feeder and when we filled it they came in large numbers! Really fun.
We thought that when the description said, "Right across the road is the Trail Ridge Marina offering boat slip, paddleboard and kayak rentals for a fun family outing on the water," that we'd be able to walk back and forth to the water - that is not the case. It's a long walk down the dirt road and back along the highway. 2nd, the water at the marina isn't where we'd want to paddle. We drove to Grand Lake for water activities.
The photos show a room with two sleeper sofas - that's true. We didn't realize that that room is between 3 bedrooms and a bathroom so it wasn't very conducive to peaceful sleeping by those using it.
Overall, the home inside is lovely and well maintained.

We’ll equipped home, great location
We found the home very spacious and well done. The kitchen had most everything you might need for cooking. I always bring my own knives to be sure I have sharp ones. I am glad I did but they did provide plenty that were decent as well as dishes and pots. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and spacious, especially the master.
While the house has no view of the lake, it was very close to it. It has a small deck that was nice to sit out on and watch the hummingbirds. The house is also very close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We went to the park every day. The park is amazing!!! Be careful though when traveling over the Pass in the park… we got stuck on the other side of the pass due to icy roads on top. The park closed the pass road and we had to drive 3 hours around to get back yo the house. Luckily it was still light out and we enjoyed beautiful scenery along the way! (Thankfully this happened only once during our week long stay)
Downtown Grand Lake is a cute small town with nice shops and restaurants. It is just a few miles from the house.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house, especially if you have a large group. If you are planning to use the lake for fishing or boating or plan to go to RMNP all is very close by!
