Perfect cabin getaway. We were able to bring our dog and he loved the outdoor space. The cabin itself was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could think of. We really enjoyed our stay and want to come back! The perfect U.P cabin stay!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We try to think of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We hope you will come back again.
Once again, we enjoyed this beautiful cozy cabin across from the Thunder Lake boat launch. The house was clean and well stocked with just about anything needed. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated with the weather being so hot in the beginning of the week! The host responded quickly to any questions we had and was very accommodating. We look forward to staying here in the future!

Thank you for your kind words and great review. We are so glad your family enjoyed their stay and that you want to come back again. We look forward to it!
We had a great stay! The cabin was beautiful and everything that came with it was great! The beds were comfortable and we were able to fit 4 adults and 3 children without feeling too cramped. My only complaint was that there wasn’t any screens in the bedroom windows which meant they couldn’t be opened (mosquitos!). The dryer in one room made the room warm and an open window would have been nice, but they did provide a fan and that helped. This however was not a deal breaker and we more than enjoyed our stay. The kayaks were our kids absolute favorite thing of our whole vacation!

We spent New Year’s in the cabin. It was a great place to relax and decompress from our busy lives. The scenery was fantastic. The cabin was spacious and comfy.

Stayed with family for a snowmobile weekend and the place worked out perfectly. It was clean, had everything we needed, and was in a beautiful location. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend to others.
This cabin was amazing! The owners had everything in the cabin that you needed! So many special things like fire starters, flavored syrup for your coffee, s’mores box and more! As soon as you walk in the cabin you feel at home! My sister and I loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back! Thunder Cove will always have a special place in our heart!

Love this cabin!
We loved this cozy cabin! The kids really liked sleeping in the loft. I loved the front porch! It would be nice in summer time. It’s a great destination to stay at in the UP, close by kitch-iti-kipi ! Very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of games to play!

The cabin on thunder Lake is very nice. It’s a well kept and and clean. We had a nice stay . It was relaxing with some fishing and some sightseeing around the area but overall we enjoyed staying at this cabin and they got it’s better than what the picture is showing. They got a regular deck now all around in picnic table up on the deck with Grill and a garage in the Store stuff in so there’s a lot about this place that store really like and I really don’t have anything really negative to say except for thank you very much to the owners.

Thank you for your kind words about our cabin. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed some fishing on Thunder Lake. We try to make it comfortable and convenient for our guests.
The cabin was very comfortable for our group of 4.
Everything was very clean and they provided all of the amenities of home.
The location was great for snowmobiling. We found very easy access to trail 413 .
Overall we had a great stay at Thunder Cove Cabin!
The Thunder Cove Cabin is just about perfect, everything is well cared for, warm and nice personal touches throughout. Two of us stayed and snowmobiled and there was more then a enough room, and with a loft and pull out, four adults is very possible, or two adults and a couple children. The location is close to the trail system about a mile and a half away and pretty easy to access. All in all very nice cabin and would definitely stay there again. Thanks to Kim & Gordie for providing such a great place to stay.
Absolutely beautiful cabin. So quite and relaxing. The cabin had Everything you would ever need. So close to the beautiful lake where the boys got some fishing in. Will definitely be back next year. We were talking about it all the way back home. Thank you are everything.

Cozy Cabin
It seemed as though owners thought of everything we could need! It has a well-stocked kitchen and many things are provided by owners. It is located in a beautiful area close to Hiawatha Nat’l Forest for quiet hikes and is not far from many great spots to visit. Restaurant options are not great but the grocery store in Manistique was a pleasant surprise so we cooked at the cabin. All-in-all, we’d rent again.
