We stayed at the Cozy Cottage over Thanksgiving. Lauren allowed us to check in early which we appreciated since we had to prep items for dinner the next day. The home has a very nice open floor plan as well as a fully fenced backyard which allowed our 2 Labradors to play without worry of getting out. Home is very clean, kitchen is well stocked, good location, and has an updated feel to it. Lauren responded quickly to all communication. We enjoyed our stay here and would book again.

Thank you so much for the lovely review! We’re glad we could accommodate an early check-in and that it helped make your Thanksgiving plans a little easier.
It’s great to hear you enjoyed the open floor plan, the fully fenced backyard for your Labradors, and that the home’s cleanliness, kitchen setup, and location met your needs. We always aim to be responsive and make guests feel well taken care of, so we truly appreciate you noting that.
We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay at Cozy Cottage and would absolutely love to host you again in the future!
We stayed here for several days with our 2 dogs before we flew them out of SeaTac. The house worked out great for us. There was a fenced backyard that made dealing with the dogs easy. The house was clean and well stocked. It even included a supply of dog waste bags to make cleaning up after the dogs easy. The owners did a great job communicating when questions came up. If we are traveling through the area, we’d stay here again.

We’re happy to know you found the house clean, well stocked, and appreciated the dog-friendly touches. Clear communication is important to us, so we’re glad that came through as well.
Safe travels to you and your pups, and we’d absolutely love to host you again if you’re ever passing through the area!
Beautiful home, we loved the coffee nook and living room area. Great location as well. Beds were comfortable. Most of the amenities were available however, there were no dishwasher pods and the outside trash was completely full when we went to dispose of our trash. There also wasn’t enough paper towels to last the entire week so we had to purchase them as well as the dishwasher pods.

Thank you so much for the kind words—we’re really glad you enjoyed the home, especially the coffee nook and living room, and that the location and beds worked well for you.
We appreciate you bringing the supply issues to our attention. We’re sorry about the missing dishwasher pods, limited paper towels, and the full outside trash bin. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we’ve already addressed this with our cleaning and restocking process to make sure future guests are fully stocked and taken care of.
Thank you again for staying with us and for the helpful feedback—we truly appreciate it and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
House is amazing with open floor plan. Only one couch and one chair (not recliner) to sit on and couch needs to be replaced as you sink in it and back rest aren’t comfortable. Did find a pair of men’s underwear in one dresser drawer from previous guest! Bathrooms are very clean and love that one is a walk in shower and other is a shower/tub. Very updated! Great backyard for kids and dogs! Would love to stay here again!!! Hostess was friendly, responded quickly and even allowed early check in. Overall I would rate it a 9.5 out of 10

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review—we’re really glad you enjoyed the open floor plan, updated bathrooms, backyard, and that early check-in worked out well for you.
We truly appreciate you pointing out the seating comfort and the missed item in the dresser. We’re very sorry about that—this has been addressed with our cleaning team, and we’re also actively evaluating replacement options for the couch to improve comfort for future guests.
It means a lot to us that, despite those items, you still had a great stay and would consider booking again. We’d absolutely love the chance to host you in the future and provide an even better experience next time!
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house in Tacoma! The location was perfect—nestled in a peaceful area, yet conveniently close to everything we wanted to explore. My family and I appreciated the easy walk to a nearby playground and library along a beautiful wooded trail, which made the neighborhood feel especially charming and family-friendly.The house was also just a short drive to downtown Tacoma, the Ruston waterfront area, and several beautiful state parks, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer while still coming back to a quiet, comfortable place to relax. We especially enjoyed spending the evenings hanging out and playing in the backyard whenever the rain held off—it was such a relaxing and enjoyable space for our family. We truly enjoyed our stay in the house and absolutely loved our trip to Tacoma. It was the perfect home base for our visit, and we would happily stay here again!
