Conveniently located on picturesque Route 28 in the hamlet of Big Indian, guests can walk to the Belleayre Beach in the summer, only a mile to the famous Peekamoose Restaurant, and numerous local hiking trails. The Full Moon Resort, a popular venue for weddings and parties, is a 10 minute drive. This area of the Catskills is also great for mountain biking, road biking, and trout fishing.

Pets are welcome! (There is a pet fee.) Dogs should not be allowed on furniture. We ask that pet owners carefully clean up after their dogs both inside and outside the house.

The Birch Creek Cottage offers 2 private bedrooms, both with queen sized beds. The pull-out sleeper sofa has sleeping space for two.

We provide a fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge style living room. We also offer WiFi, a high def TVs, air-conditioning, and central heat.

The backyard has a large deck, perfect for BBQing on the gas grill, drinking and dining, and sunbathing. Birch Creek flows all year round which is blissful for cooling off in the summer, lounging by in the spring, and gathering at the fire pit in the autumn and winter.

An easy 2 1/2 hours drive from NYC, BelleHouse is the perfect spot for visiting the towns of Phoenicia, Woodstock, Margaretville, and Roxbury, attending the areas many music festivals, farm stands, and spas, and for endless hiking, skiing, biking, motorcycling, fishing, running, walking, swimming, eating, and antiquing.
