This fully furnished, one-bedroom daylight basement apartment (with 78" ceilings) combines contemporary style with warmth, offering everything you need for a home away from home.

The apartment features a private entrance, a full eat-in kitchen with new appliances, including a range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. It has one bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious open living area with a full sofa sleeper. The full bathroom includes a tub and shower, and you’ll also have access to our charming backyard space with outdoor furnishings and barbecue. The property is equipped with a new full-sized washer and dryer, high-definition satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.

Location, location, location! We’re situated in Upper Fremont, just two blocks south of the Woodland Park Zoo and Rose Garden. A short walk takes you to nearby restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and public transportation. Our central location offers easy access to the popular Seattle neighborhoods of Fremont, Wallingford, Phinney Ridge, Green Lake, and Ballard. We’re only two blocks from major east-west and north-south routes, with downtown Seattle, the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, Lake Union, The Locks, and Golden Gardens all a quick bus or car ride away.

You can take a bus downtown to many Seattle attractions, including Pike Place Market, the Washington State Convention Center, and museums such as SAM (Seattle Art Museum), the Olympic Sculpture Park, and the Asian Art Museum. Also nearby are the Mariners, Seahawks, and Sounders stadiums, the Elliott Bay Waterfront with its aquarium and Big Wheel, the Space Needle, and the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit. There’s excellent shopping at Westlake Center and Pacific Place, plus the MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry) and Center for Wooden Boats in South Lake Union. My daughter and I stayed for 8 days and could not have been happier. The suite is well appointed with all the basics you would need. The space is very comfortable and the backyard is an added treat. Sarah and Jeff were quick to respond to any requests and extremely helpful when our car broke down. A bonus was the amazing pound of coffee from Lighthouse Roasters. If you stay here you must make a trip to Lighthouse.

Sarah and Jeff provided an excellent place to stay that allowed our family to visit together in Seattle with great comfort and access to all the great opportunities in the area. The apartment was in excellent condition in all aspects. It was up to date, extremely clean, and thoughtfully furnished with everything one would need. There was definitely a lot of thought put into providing above and beyond what most would expect. And the location is convenient for travel to other areas as well as having great places nearby. And it is close to a giant troll!

Lovely unit in an ideal location

My family (including a toddler) had a lovely weekend here. Cozy but not cramped, with a large bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and super comfy bedroom and living area. Close to the zoo, Ballard, and easy access to other neighborhoods and the freeway. Street parking was very easy to find on the same block. Hosts were friendly and communicative, and the unit itself lacked for nothing. Highly recommend!

Tranquil Little Stay

My best friend and I enjoyed this tranquil little place. We are both under 5’2, so this place felt like it fit us perfectly (low ceilings/not for the tall). We were able to pull the couch out into a bed so we could each have our own room and bed to enjoy. It was super clean, washer and dryer were available. We wish we wouldn’t have been so busy so we could have cooked in and used the full kitchen. The neighborhood is the coolest and walkable to some great places - we would absolutely stay here again!

Nice quiet neighborhood just a 5 minute walk away to the Woodland Park Zoo and adjacent Rose Garden. We did find street parking somewhat challenging so once we parked by the rental we did not take the car out again until the end of our 7-day stay. Sarah and Jeff were very helpful in guiding us through the process of obtaining Orca cards and there were 2 bus stops just a couple of blocks away that got us everywhere around the city. The rental was clean and well stocked although I did have to buy tissues (I had contracted a cold) since none were supplied. A minor issue, I realize. Sarah was very responsive to any questions we posed to her and overall we were very pleased with the property.

Fall in Fremont

The Woodland Park Suite was exactly as described and completely fit my needs for a recent week long stay. Although the ceiling is lower than regular room height, it still worked out fine--even for someone as tall as me (6'1"). The fresh flowers were a thoughtful and welcoming touch.

Awesome Fremont apartment

This apartment was everything we could ask for. Very close to family, bus lines, grocery shopping and much more. We had no trouble with parking or traffic in the area. Everything we needed was included with nice little extras such as fresh flowers and beverages. Also appreciated the Brita water system. Having a washer/dryer really was helpful. We will definitely return here soon.

Wonderful Seattle stay.

We had a great stay at Woodland Park Suite. We were there to celebrate our son's wedding. My husband and I stayed here for 5 days then my sister and her family moved in while we moved next door to VROB 453800. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There were fresh flowers and a nicely stocked kitchen. We fortunately had great weather so were able to use the nice yard. Sarah was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, for example, my sister had her daughter and granddaughter with her. Sarah left some fun things for the baby to use. It is a great neighborhood for taking walks, walking to restaurants and the zoo. Bus stops are close by that can take you to major sites. We did have a car and had not problem with parking. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Seattle. Thank you Sarah!

We are a family of 4 and have owned this home since December of 2006. We have done a number of renovations on the property over the years and have decided to take on the significant project of redoing the basement, bringing it down to the foundation and slab on grade and starting fresh.

We love the location of our home and we know that you will too. The house is tucked into a quiet nook of Upper Fremont, yet has immediate access to several major thoroughfares and countless amenities.
