Wyndam Vacation Rentals manages this property and was a joy to book through. They made the check-in and check out processes very easy, and the house was neat and clean.
We highly recommend both the property and the management agency.
This property was beautiful, spacious and near beach. We love the open lay out. Kitchen was furnished great. Loved bathroom bedroom ratio. Deck was great and scenery, especially wildlife was awesome!

Everything went as expected and the location was great for us being near friends. Lot of room and the room above garage was great for the kids to have their own space. .

Great Family Vacation Spot
The house was wonderful! It was well equipped and spacious. We had a group of 7 plus a baby, and it was very comfortable. It was nice that there was a bathroom for each bedroom. We were traveling with a group of 10 and there was plenty of room for entertaining all 17. The outside deck was great for morning coffee. The beach was an easy walk. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, and layout very outdated and musty
Great ovation and layout, very very outdated and totally musty and Terrible smell
My family of 9 stayed at this rental for a week and it was very nice. We loved the big living room, open kitchen, and easy 8-min walk to the beach. We didn’t use the porch very much because it was so hot. The appliances are a little older, and one stove burner didn’t work, but in general it was perfect! 5 stars

Met basic needs
The house overall met our needs. It is spacious and clean, yet outdated, which we knew. My concern was with communication… was told the parking gate passes were at the house. They were not. Went to the gate house and they did not have us arriving. The internet name and passcode sent to us was wrong. They advised me to unplug router. What a mess. Finally realizing I was given the wrong information. Could not find garbage disposal.

Nice location, big disappointment! Neglected property.
The Kiawah gate was unable to find registration and therefore no weekly pass. Kitchen is small and refrigerator is sized for a small apartment, not the size house. Usually when we stay at Kiawah there are bikes and beach chairs. No bikes to use, three beach chairs, one all rusted and broken. The propane gas canister was empty, so at 7 pm had to drive to get it filled, at my cost. Sliding doors don't even lock, just two towels for master bathroom, for a week? insufficient dishwasher detergent, only 3 cycles??, we had to clean up spider webs, from the deck, it was covered. We have rented at Kiawah for years, THis house is neglected and the owners do not understand the concept of hospitality. All of these aspects take away from the joy of going to Kiawah. I recommend the owners and management company review this rental and mitigate these problems.

Hi, Mary! We are so glad you chose to stay with us and are disappointed to see you did not enjoy your Vacasa experience. We do only supply a starter set of supplies to get guests settled in. All bathrooms are stocked with four towels. We do wish you had called about the propane so we could have refilled it for you and do apologize we missed that it was low. Thank you!

Family vacation!
The house had all the room we needed which was great for us. The bad thing about it is that we had my 1 year old grandson with us and there was some kind of worms crawling all throughout the house and he is still crawling. The house is very dated but could be nice if sprayed properly! The Washing machine leaked water in the laundry room and the dryer shocked more than one of us, when we first arrived and entered the house, the water was running in the sink in the laundry room wide open. There was cobwebs & spiders all over the from porch and back deck too. My wife and i spent 2 hours just cleaning them up enough so we could sit outside. The house advertised a grill on the deck so we planned a night of grilling and the tank was empty, had to postpone that meal until the next day and buy a full tank for the grill and only used it once! I contacted the management and they messaged back very quickly but said for me to take pictures and email to them, and they didn't want us to have a bad experience.... how do i take pictures of an empty propane tank? The living room rug is coming apart and the fuzz would get all over the baby and kids when they layed on it. There wasn't any mention of trying to fix any issues while we were there, and it really upset my wife & I because we visit Kiawah Island at least 2 or 3 times a year! The house could be a great place for a large family like ours, had it been properly maintained!
