Quick ocean access and excellent ocean/beach view. Sufficient parking for 4 vehicles. Very responsive VRBO host. Clean beach house. Pieces of the Living room furniture are looking "tired".

I wondered why this home was still available so close to fall break and at such a reasonable price. Once we entered , the answer became pretty obvious. This place hasn’t had a refresh since possibly the 1980’s. The inside furniture might be even older. The beds in particular are among the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on…….and that covers a lot of ground over the last 50 years. The deck was in total disrepair with rotting wood framing the screens. The living was a huge disappoint with uncomfortable furniture. One single 27 inch tiny tv in the living room is the only one in the house. This home could be awesome but it’s been given no updates or decorative touches. The bright spot is , of course, the location on the beach. The views from the back porch are spectacular and it’s an easy walk to the pier and main strip. The management is excellent and very responsive.

Beautiful stay right on the beach. The house was easy to maintain, everything you'd need for the beach and a comfortable stay. The screened in porch was perfect for a good cup of coffee and watching the waves come in. About a twenty minute drive brings you right into the heart of downtown Charleston. A delightful stay!!

This property was awesome and exceeded our expectations. Perfect location right on the beach. There was NOTHING that we needed, that was not provided in the kitchen, or bbq grill, rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, all linens were great. We would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Retreat

3rd year on Folly Beach and this cottage was by far the best! We loved the porch and view and the house was cozy and comfortable. Hope to stay here again!!

This house is in great shape and has everything you need. The owner obviously cares. However, the management company posted incorrect wifi information which resulted in my sister missing an important radio interview. They never apologized for this although they were informed, then refused us a one-hour late checkout on a Monday morning in January. I would stay here again, but I was not impressed by the management company.

Perfect spot!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage like feel and the tranquil porch made a perfect peaceful getaway! We also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent beach vacation!

Foursenior women stayed at Back Home for a long weekend! Everything about the property was excellent! It was a wonderful way to spend time together in a quiet oceanfront cottage that was cleaner than clean and provided all that we could need! Can’t wait to go again!!!!!
