The house is in an amazing location. It has the feel of being in the country yet close enough to activities , particularly Asheville.The house itself is well equipped and very dog friendly. The beds are great and host is responsive to needs.

The whole area, the house, and the yard are all super nice. We really enjoyed our stay. I don't believe we needed anything that wasn't available in the home.We brought our dogs with us, so they also had a great time. The fence around the property is not flush to the ground and not terribly tall and it's farm fencing, so bendable. I have one escapist dog. I watched her like a hawk while we were outside and she didn't make it out, but if you also have an escapist, I think it wouldn't take but 15-30 seconds to make it through the fence.Stargazing was lovely. There are so many stars. We even saw whisps of the Milky Way, though the tree line obscured a lot of it. It really is a lovely home in a lovely area.
