Perfect getaway spot! The cabin was clean, cozy, and in a beautifully serene location. Anything we could have needed was thoughtfully provided for making for an easy, relaxing ski weekend. The host was responsive and helpful with any questions. We had the most wonderful time and hope to return in the future!

We loved the Owl's nest! We were in the area to ski at Okemo and it was the perfect place to stay with the dogs. We had some great dog walks, snow shoeing on her expansive property. The apartment has everything you need for both comfort and utility, and the coffee, banana bread and OJ that Ellen provided were icing on the cake. We are already planning on returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect and made it easy to grab dinner in Woodstock, relax and enjoy our time away.Ellen and Curtis were welcoming, responsive, and very easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience stress-free. We loved staying at the Owls nest! Ellen Quinn and Curtis are wonderful hosts and have the ideal set up for a cozy winter getaway in Vermont. Perfectly located near killington, okemo, and backcountry skiing. Thank you for being one of the most dog friendly spots we’ve stayed at. We’d highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay at the Owl’s Nest. It’s more spacious than the photos suggest. Ellen and Curtis were communicative and helpful, and we really enjoyed hiking in the woods with our dog. We’d gladly come back.

We are retired Vermonters who enjoy a great quality of life here in Vermont. We also enjoy meeting new people. Having grown up in the area, we know our part of the world quite well and we enjoy sharing these gems with our quests.

Why they chose this property

Our property is a wooded 10 acres on a back road, our neighbors have been the same neighbors for the last 50+ years. I guess we are all pretty happy here. It is quiet with lots of wildlife, pristine water, with a beautiful brook for most of the year. You can see the stars at night because we do not have light pollution.
