We had wonderful stay at this quiet creekside cabin! The place was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It was a great base camp for exploring Spearfish Canyon Deadwood, and the surrounding area. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

This cozy stream side cabin is exactly that. A beautiful location with a stream and wind whistling thru the pines. The perfect place to unwind and relax. The cabin is well stocked, clean and comfortable. Our host, Dwayne, provided complete information about the cabin and was very helpful. We would certainly love to stay here again.

The cabin was very nice and well appointed. It is very well located, only a short drive from Deadwood or Spearfish, and is in a nice quiet location right on the creek. A great spot to stay for a couple of days to get away from the hustle and bustle of things.

Maitland Legacy is a delightful getaway in the Spearfish/Lead area. Cabin was very well stocked with anything needed for your stay. Great communication from Dwayne and easy access. A wonderful location to base out of for a Black Hills vacation.

We loved it and the host went out of his way to make sure we were ok. The only sad thing is we only got to stay one night because our daughter was taken in critical condition to the hospital back home. We arrived Friday late afternoon and drove home Saturday. It was a Beautiful place. Thank you for everything.Martin McGuire

This super clean cabin is off the beaten path and right on the creek and is such a relaxing retreat! Very comfortable seating in LR. Nice TV selection and connections to the internet went smoothly, but there is no cell service. If you’re used to a queen or king size bed, the bedroom downstairs is a full (double) size and you might not like that. We thought we could handle it, but mid night on the first night, I moved to the couch and let my husband (bigger guy) have the couch. There was a cute loft bed accessible by ladder, but we were past the age to risk that, lol! Kitchen was very well stocked. Bathroom has everything you need, but is small. There was an available washer and dryer, but we did not use it. Once again, like the entire cabin, the bathroom was spotless and was well stocked with good quality towels and bonus magnifying makeup mirror and bidet toilet. There is a huge deck with a couple of seating areas and we did use the gas grill which worked perfectly. The area is beautiful and we felt totally safe in this environment. We both agreed that if the bedroom was upgraded to at least a queen size memory foam type bed, we would definitely come back. The host, Dawayne reached out before, during and after our stay, so I’m sure if you needed anything at all, he’d be available to help.

Thanks for your very thorough review. As we use the cabin ourselves , we also would prefer a queen bed. We tried one but the size of the room does not allow it. That's the reason we specify there is a double size.

Booked this cabin for a week to go fly fishing with a friend. Cabin is quiet, clean, and set up well to cook meals and enjoy Mother Nature. Small stream flows past the cabin. Sound of flowing water is soothing. Lots of deck area, and outside seating. Beautiful. I had snags in my schedule and had to change dates. No problems with this. Friendly, helpful interactions.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we will be back again and again! My family loves this cabin, the location, the view, and everything about it! Love the ease of check in we could do independently. Noticed right away on arrival and entering that it was very clean and well maintained with a personal touch inside and out. Beautiful cabin with a babbling brook that ran along entire front of cabin. Loved sitting on deck enjoying the sounds. Everything we needed including ample towels and blankets. Surprised that we had large selection of tv stations. Appreciated the land line in case of emergency. Warm lighting all along deck and motion light at entrance. Very safe and tucked away from the busy tourism but close enough to get to everything the black hills has to offer!
