Overall, our stay was good, it was on the water where my son was fishing and 15 minutes from the landing they had to put in at. Communication was excellent and quick as needed. We got in at 1 am and to our surprise the drive way was very steep and narrow. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue but we had a bass boat on a boat trailer. The 2 bedrooms upstairs only had lamps, the rooms were very dark. There were bugs and leaves on the stairs and floors. There were spiderwebs on the couch, it looked like the house had been closed up for the Winter.

Our family was at the house july 1-5. The dock and water access were very good especially with the lake down 8 to 10 feet. Overall, the house was ok. Basically, there was a lack of prep and poor management. We were not given the right wifi password. House did not cool well. What was sent to us via email was missing a letter and we did not see the chalkboard by the front door. We did get a response from the mgmt company that night with the correction. The house did not cool well. The thermostat highest temp was 81. The fridge in kitchen had a broken ice maker which we found when we got there. There was a portable ice maker that did not make much. The kitchen fridge was set to 34 degrees but barely kept food cold. We were concerned about getting sick. The electric stove coils were not seated properly so the stove would not work till we figured it out. The upstairs shower door was broken. One of the upstairs TV required a code to work. The sleeping room in basement had a window blind frame installed but there were no slats so you had light first thing. House kayaks were in poor shape. The fitted sheet in the master bedroom did not fit. It came off every night. The mattress had a stain on the edge. Bad for a rental. I emailed the mgmt company. They replied if it was ok for them to send someone out. I said yes. Noone came out. There is not house book with instructions which would have made it much easier. For 1000 per night, expect better.

The house was very nice, lots of room for all my family, beautiful piece of property right on the Lake, dock & Gazebo area perfect for family fun. What I didn't like was dealing with a management company & not the owner. The fridge started freezing up & the AC unit was not as effective as it needed to be for upstairs bedrooms by afternoon house was reading 75 degrees and even with the fans that were provided upstairs guest were still very warm. Management team did respond quickly & said would have maintenance team out but they never came so we just dealt with it. Inside home was clean & decorated nicely, downstairs was perfect for my teenage grandkids, pool table, video games, extra sleeping space, it's own kitchen area & bathroom. What needs attention is landscaping, porch area & gazebo, outside areas are just as lived in at the Lake as inside. All outdoor furniture cushions were old & stained. I had to clean patio table & sweep down cobwebs, Gazebo area was just the same and wasp nest down there too we had to spray & old water toys looks like last years guests left. All stuff I as a guest shouldn't be doing on my vacation! Over all the 10 of us had a great time & plenty of space. I just hope the owner see's these reviews & wants to make this beautiful vacation spot just as perfect as they can. PS, also being Pet Friendly is always Fantastic our Lab had a wonderful time too!
