Relaxing!

This house is in a great location. Quiet, private, we all felt safe and comfortable. It was a walk to get to the beach but walking through this neighborhood was so beautiful. The house is wonderful, and it felt homey. This house definitely attributed to a great vacation for my family and I.

Beach house review

Beautiful house and very clean. Decor in house was so pretty. Equipped with all the things you need. Wish it had air conditioning though because it hot hot, especially the upstairs. But once we opened all the windows, that helped a lot. Also the parking was super tight and was hard to go up the hill and get the car in. But I would stay there again.

This house/neighborhood is perfect for family of 5. Short walk to the beach (lots of stairs). Super cute and will stay again. We found a coveted glass float and couldn’t be happier! Only downfalls: water in showers is warm at BEST, dryer element went out during our stay (that was addressed by property manager), door lock changed on us after extending our stay and no proactive communication happened so we had to call but that was not big deal! Love this place!

Great place with soft mattresses

We had a nice stay overall. Great location, awesome beach and fun heated pool. The freezer and water dispenser in the fridge didn’t work correctly, but Vacasa said they would address before the next guests checked in. The only big problem was that the mattresses were too soft for our liking. If there was a king size bed or at least more firm mattresses to sleep on, we would book this property again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this house we love this house I will have to say though the last time we were there and this time both the water does not get hot in the shower it is a lukewarm shower which is not very pleasant aside from that everything was just perfect

We love Olivia Beach and have visited on several occasions. Mermaids Grotto was a great little house with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our return visit. The driveway is a bit of a challenge so bring your SUV, but the views from the house are worth it.

No pool access

No pool access was provided to us even though the pool was open to other guests staying in the community. We were there for 4 nights and despite calling in this issue within minutes of checking in we were never provided access to the pool. This was very frustrating for us and our children. We could see the pool was open and others had key cards or fabs for access, but Vacasa was trying to tell us that the pool was closed due to COVID. Not true…

Mermaid’s Grotto was a Sheer Delight

This property was first-class. Everything about it was high quality from the cookware to the fluffy white towels to the brand new couches. We loved having warm water outside to rinse off our cold piggies from walking the serene beach for hours. We had plenty of space for the kids to spread out and reset and we were even able to accommodate a younger and an older movie night with two awesome viewing areas. The whole vibe is happy, relaxing, comfortable and tasteful. This is our favorite VRBO by far!
