About this property
Romantic Oregon Coast Escape with Porch, Fireplace & Garden Charm
Summary:
Olivia's Rose
The Space:
Some places just feel like exhaling. Olivia’s Rose is a Cape Cod-style boardwalk cottage in Lincoln City’s Olivia Beach neighborhood, a short stroll from the sand, with a wraparound porch, a rose-lined garden, and room for six. It’s made for slow mornings, long dinners, and the kind of weekend you’re already looking forward to returning to.
Wake up, pour a cup of coffee, and carry it out to the wraparound covered porch or the rose-lined garden seating, where the salt air does its work before the day has even started. When evening comes, light the grill on the sunny back deck, pour a glass of wine, and let dinner take as long as it wants. And when the coast turns moody and the rain rolls in, the gas fireplace turns the whole cottage into the coziest place on the Oregon Coast.
The kitchen is compact but fully stocked, with a gas range and a big double-door fridge-freezer, so cooking a favorite meal feels easy and a little bit fun. Gather around the table, or pull up a stool at the breakfast bar and keep the cook company. With two living areas, there’s always somewhere to land: one for a movie by the fire, another for a book, a quiet phone call, or the conversation that runs late.
When it’s time to turn in, the downstairs primary suite feels like a retreat of its own, with a king bed, an ensuite bath, and a little distance from the rest of the house. Upstairs, a queen bedroom and a second room with two single beds share a bath, perfect for a second couple, friends traveling together, or anyone who likes a room to call their own.
It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, where seven miles of shoreline wait for tide pooling, driftwood hunting, and long, quiet walks. Across the street, Olivia Beach Park has walking trails, a community firepit, and volleyball courts, plus a small gym and a pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Farther afield, Cascade Head and Drift Creek Falls are two of the coast’s best hikes, and Devils Lake and Siletz Bay are lovely for time on the water.
Summer and fall bring the Kite Festivals and a sky full of color. Year-round, the Finders Keepers program sends beachcombers searching for hand-blown glass floats. In winter, watch the storms roll in from the shore, then come home to the fire. Even in summer, the ocean breeze keeps the cottage naturally cool, no air conditioning needed. When you’re ready to explore, Lincoln City’s galleries, boutiques, and seafood restaurants are close by, with Depoe Bay and Newport an easy day trip away.
Some of the best travel memories come from the places that make you feel most like yourself. Olivia’s Rose is an invitation to experience the Oregon Coast at your own pace, and a place you may find yourself looking forward to returning to long after you leave.

Kelli, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad you found Olivia’s Rose cute and enjoyed the great location for your girls’ weekend. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to welcome you back for another getaway!
Beautiful home that worked perfectly for our family of four! The neighborhood is lovely and the house itself was so inviting that we were eager to stay inside on rainy days and to head back in after a few hours at the beach. The location is fantastic if you want a central place for easy travel anywhere from Florence to Tillamook.

Thank you for responding and for the lovely review. We’re so glad Olivia's Rose was the perfect fit for your family of four. It’s great the neighborhood felt welcoming and the home was inviting enough to enjoy cozy rainy days while still being easy to return to after time at the beach. Knowing the central location made exploring from Florence to Tillamook simple is wonderful to hear. We’d be happy to host you again.
We loved this house! Very nicely decorated, adorable neighborhood, 3 min walk to the beach. Beds were firm, not an issue for us but just an fyi. Houses are close together so if you're neighbors are up late talking on their porch, you will hear them. Mellow neighborhood though so neighbors always went in by 1030. Kitchen is well stocked. Loved being right across from the playground so the kids could run across and play. Pool is a 3 min walk up a hill.

Thanks for staying at Olivia's Rose. We're glad the location—so close to the beach, playground, and pool—helped make family time easy and relaxed. We appreciate the note about the firmer mattresses and the homes being close together; we’ll share that feedback with the owners and continue reminding guests about quiet hours. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back when you return to the coast.
This was a very sweet house that was perfect place for my family to spend time on a rainy spring day at the beach. The host communicated everything in a timely and clear way. We'd love to come back!
We've stayed in Olivia Beach many times over the years and this is one of our favorite homes so far. The location can't be beat. The pathway leading to beach access runs right alongside the house and the playground/rec area is directly across the street. The layout of the home is perfect for families and the decor is extra colorful and cozy. Will definitely be returning!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Kellie! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed both the home and its fantastic location. Knowing it was a great fit for your family means a lot to us. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to hosting you again in the future.
We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as what’s shown in pictures and described on VRBO. Very clean and spacious. We were a group of 5 and found the layout of the house very pleasant. Everything was well stocked. The kitchen is well laid out and we were able to cook and prepare meals there without issue every day. The house is in a lovely secluded neighbourhood. There is a park just across lane out the front door. Beach access is super easy and quick. The beach is wonderful and clean. Just a couple miles walk along beach to centre of town. Lincoln City is a nice little laid back beach town. Lots to see and do over our 5 night stay. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Everything about this property was perfect! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with "happy colors" and a comfortable, welcoming aura. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedding was top quality, and the entire home was beyond clean. No detail was overlooked! The location allows for you to easily walk to the beach, explore town, or just sit on the covered patio and breathe in the ocean air! Highly recommend and will be back!
It was good for our family of 6 to stay at. A couple spots that weren't entirely clean. No coffee provided (glad I brought my own). No body wash provided in upstairs bathroom. Liked the decor, the pool was a nice addition for the kids to enjoy, and house was plenty big enough for us. All in all it was a nice getaway stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that the home’s size, decor, and pool made for a nice getaway for your family of six. We truly appreciate your compliments. We are sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues and the missing coffee and body wash in the upstairs bathroom. Your comments are very important to us, and we will be sure to share them with our local team to help improve future stays. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another wonderful vacation soon.
First time yo Lincoln City. This home is in a beautifully manicured subdivision of unique homes each prettier than the next. Location was perfect steps from the Open Square green and park. Stairs to beach although steep were right at back of property. Comfy beds. Fully accessorized kitchen. Beach towels provided. Adirondack chairs on covered porch. Easy checkin . An absolutely lovely space to explore the Coast.
Property was very clean and welcoming. It was a rainy October stay, so we immediately utilized the heaters and fireplace in the house to warm it up. No shoes are allowed in the house, so make sure to get everything to the front door. The front door is the only entrance and exit to the house so you will bring your items down the covered porch from the parking spot in back. The garage is VERY tight to maneuver into and out. We did not attempt it with a mid-size SUV. The entrance for your vehicle is a couple houses prior to the house you are staying in.The view of the ocean is after a short walk uphill to the stairs shown in the picture, but it is worth it. We would definitely stay again if we are in Oregon.
We came to Olivia Beach for a family reunion. We rented a total of three houses for 11 adults and five kids. We spent time at the beach, used the community pool, golfed, went deep sea fishing, went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and used the Lincoln City Recreation pool for lap swimming. We enjoyed ourselves and the homes we rented. We particularly enjoyed our rental home. It was clean, very light, thoughtfully decorated and worked out well with the upstairs bedrooms/ sitting area for our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.
We struggled a bit with the locking system on the front door. It had an overly long entry code that had to be entered multiple times before the house could be opened. I attempted to reach the “local” consultant at the number listed on the front of the house about 3:00 pm. Fortunately we were able to get in, as my phone call was not returned until 9:30 that night. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would happily rent this property again.
