The cabin was clean and nice. It was a great place to stay. The only issue we had was with the drive way. It had a bad wash out in the middle of it that made it hard to get up on our motorcycles. Other than that we love it
My family loved staying here! We made a last minute decision to float the Guadalupe River and we had the best time! Our 3 kids were extremely comfortable in the bunk room and our two dogs loved having a little dog park area to run around in. I loved that there’s a shuttle service that picks you up from the gate to take you to the river to float and you can choose to float to the sister property off the river and walk back or have the shuttle drop you right back off at the cabins. The cabin was the perfect size for a family of 5 and two dogs. The house was cool, clean, and extra blankets on each bed made it feel extra cozy and comfortable.
The pictures really didn’t do this place justice—they made it look much smaller than it actually is. The River Cabin was spacious, had an extra pull-out bed, and there were plenty of linens provided for everyone. The pool was amazing, and the location couldn’t have been better. We loved that Tan Turtle Tavern was within walking distance next door and The Grouchy Goose was right across the street, so we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about drinking and driving. You can hear music from the bars at night, but the hosts thoughtfully provided earplugs for anyone who is sensitive to noise.Another nice touch was the welcome book with local recommendations, accommodations, and nearby attractions. We also appreciated that they had an agreement with CAP’s Tubing to pick us up and drop us off for only 25 per person, which made our river trip incredibly convenient. This is a great place for anyone looking to have fun after 10 p.m. The only negative was that the carpet in the living room is a tripping hazard. Several people in our group almost tripped over it—and not because of drinking. It would be great if that could be addressed for future guests.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back.
