This property was ideal for our 2 large families. We thoroughly enjoyed having the 2 adorable lakefront cottages and the big house, giving us a lot of room to play cards and lawn games. We took full advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards and dingy (catching fish at the clump of reeds in front) and the close proximity to Mackinac Island and Lake Michigan was great. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook for our group and the beds were very comfortable (everyone slept in!) We’d love to return for more summer camp vibes!!

This property worked out well for a 3 generation family vacation. The small cottages accommodated 2 elder couples, the larger cottage was a nice place for gathering and preparing shared meals. There was plenty of space and privacy to spread out, play yard games and enjoy the on the water activities. I am sure we will consider visiting again. The location provided easy access to Mackinaw City, Cheybogan and Wilderness State Park…

Our entire family enjoyed our stay on the lake. We used the kayaks, grilled out, enjoyed sunsets and lawn games. The cabins were beautifully remodeled. We really appreciated all the recommendations of the host! Highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation

We used all three cabins for our vacation. Each cabin was perfect for each of our children and grandchildren. The cabins were clean and well furnished. The firepits had plenty of wood and we had one each evening after playing in the water. The ability to use paddle boards, paddle boats and kayaks gave all of us enjoyment during the warm days. The cabins were close to Mackinac Island and the UP for sight seeing. Great vacation spot!!

This place was awesome for my family of 7 adults, 2 kids, a toddler and 2 infants. It’s a 20-minute drive to Mackinaw City which is where you port to the island. There is a lot to do on the property itself - kayaks, paddle boards, fire pits, racquet ball, and other games the owners have set out for the kids - so much to do! Each cabin is fully equipped with everything you would need for the trip. We couldn’t recommend this VRBO enough!

Family Vacation

Everyone had a great time. Our group included kids(under 10) to older adults.The ceiling fan in one of the smaller cabins did not work and an electrical outlet in the other small cabin did not work. The Wifi in the Birch cabin was inconsistent for the first few days but was fine the last 4 days. None of these items were major. I still rated this as 5 stars.
