A spacious space to relax for two. Master suite with private entrance. Large bathroom (tub/shower) and french doors that open to a private patio to outdoor gardens and pool. Outdoor private dining area with seating and efficiency kitchen.
After a day and night of exploring Sarasota and all it has to offer, come relax by the open air pool as look at the stars surrounded by lush tropical foliage. The location allows you to walk to Sarasota Bay, Selby Gardens and the South Side Village. We offer an espresso machine for you to enjoy and the birds will offer their wake up song!

This property is NOT FOR YOU if you want to cook all your meals and live here during your entire stay. This property IS FOR YOU if want a relaxing place to return to after you explore Sarasota and attend events in the area.

I only wish I had more time to enjoy the beauty and amenities that are offered. Is there another bigger property on site? One with either 2 or more beds for a family stay.

Great ambiance and location

Villa Rosa lives up to its presentation online. Beautiful Italian villa style home. Lovely setting in a great neighborhood location, with short drive to Siesta Key, stores, restaurants and markets. You simply could not ask for a better VRBO experience!

Italian Villa Paradise!

We loved Casa Rosa so much we extended our stay. Thank you to our hosts Michelle and Maurizio for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve and birthday celebration with home made cannoli and candles! We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to go back!

Property was very nice indeed! Beautiful house, awesome pool area, nice covered veranda just outside our rooms. Just what we were looking for! The location is just minutes away from restaurants, museums, coffee shops and a fairly short drive to the beaches. We enjoyed it very much! Thanks so much Maurizio!

Lovely clean quiet romantic setting.

We stayed at this property for a week during Spring Training for the Orioles. Maurizio and Michelle were wonderful hosts. It gave me a relaxing retreat to read my books while my husband spent time at Ed Smith Stadium. The location was great. Within walking distance to many restaurants and coffee places. Perfect place for 2 people.

Italian villa

Very nice place to stay, however, the refridgerator, cook top, sink and eating area were located outside on the lani. That would have been okay if the weather wasn’t in the 40’s.

A taste of Italy in Sarasota

We.enjoyed our time here immensely. The property is as beautiful as the photos suggest. We ate all our meals on the label overlooking the pool. The owners were very friendly, and the closed gate provided added security and privacy. Superb location very close to the center of town, yet a sweet feeling of solitude. The only very slight demurral is that the wind had blown quite a few leaves into the pool, but I enjoyed swimming in it anyway. One of the best memories of our 6-week sojourn through Florida this winter!

Upon arrival everything on check in was easy and comfortable. The house was gorgeous with beautiful landscaping and a backyard pool feeling like i was in Italy. Michelle and Maurizio were so hospitable and so nice . I felt like I was visiting family. Accommodations were exceptional and really clean , super comfortable bed and spacious room with a large bathroom . Easy access to everything in beuatiful Sarasota.. Words can’t express how amazing our stay was at the Villa. A real genuine taste of The Italian culture. The details of the villa were magnificent. We enjoyed our anniversary with memories made of a lifetime. Michael and Michelle were very hospitable. Privacy was great. Loved the cat and the birds. The private pool, WiFi, stove, TV and cleanliness was 5 star. We will be back. Thanks for making this a beautiful memorable experience for my wife and I. Maurizio, I really want to leave a four star review, however, there are just too many things that were not up to the standard you presented.. first of all it’s very obvious there are no hosts here taking care of the property… the yard was very unkept. The grass really needed cutting in the back. My husband had to get a broom to get sticks and a snake out of the pool, we could not find a strainer… the pool was very slimy… the hot tub was full of debris and sticks; I understand this will happen but when you have guests, you should have someone keeping those areas clean while your guests are here… When we arrived, we had 1/2 roll of toilet paper on the stand …. That’s kind of ridiculous and no bath soap, the bar that Maurice brought over was ridiculously old… I had to go purchase soap …the espresso coffee you left was outdated06/2023 and the pot, obviously needs replacing. It does not get expresso hot.I asked for a coffee maker, because I am not an espresso drinker, and the one Maurice brought over was disgusting!I went and purchased one, which I would like to be reimbursed for30… we had one large butcher knife, which was rusted and would not cut hardly anything… no other knives were provided. The batteries failed the one and only time we tried to use the TV remote so we texted Maurice and asked for more. he said he would be here within an hour. We finally gave up and went to bed. They were on the table the next morning. The ac obviously was controlled in the main house,

Little Italian Gem in Sarasota

What a special place this was to stay. It is perfectly located for easy access to Siesta Key, Armand’s Circle, and walking distance to Selby Botanical Garden and the Sarasota Museum of Arts. Check in was simple. The hosts communicated through VRBO and were quick to respond. We used the beautiful jacuzzi and pool every day. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and private and there was plenty of space to store your clothes. TV had lots of choices. The kitchen space is outdoor only but it’s on the covered patio and easy to access. The hosts were very friendly and it was nice chatting with them. Don’t hesitate to book this space - it feels like your little home away from home. Thank you Maurizio and Michelle.

Beautiful Italian Villa

We love staying at the Villa Rosa! It felt like we were in Italy not Florida! My only request to make your accommodation perfect is maybe have a Keurig coffee maker. Your expresso was good, but it was cold by the time I got to it. If you have an Keurig, your guest could have their coffee whenever they want. It could be placed right on your desk with 2 cups and a few K-cups and it would be perfect. I love my coffee in the morning as soon as I wake. Other than that minor detail we loved our stay. You provided everything else we would need. The bed was luxurious, big wide screen TV, towels, soap/shampoo/conditioner and amazing red wine! I would not hesitate to book your room in the future! Absolutely Amazing Experience with An Amazing Host. We came for 2 days with big plans, but this place was so nice and relaxing my wife slept almost the whole time and I had no problem sitting in this little piece of paradise waiting for her to wake up. Fun private Villa feel, easy access to Sarasota!

Nice and private, quiet (aside from pool construction next door, but that's temporary). Pool to ourselves! Didn't know the "kitchenette" was outdoors on the lanai but as a Seattle visitor that was easy to navigate and work with in this type of weather. Great visit, great communication. Only suggestion would be a pool vacuum system (like in AZ) due to wind and evening weather debris. Nice comfy bed, and good shower / restroom setup, including a WC off the pool to the outdoors, for when you are wet! Well laid out, and would definitely come again! Thank you!

Beautiful private property!

I needed a solo vacation and this property was perfect. In a nice residential area, a sprawling Italian-style villa has a bedroom suite. It shares the huge veranda, backyard, and pool with the primary residence- but is also private. There’s a well equipped, small kitchen just outside the suite on the porch. Everything was there that I needed. The pool and gorgeous backyard was encouraged to use at my leisure and I took big advantage. Mauritzio is an incredibly gracious host- he helped with restaurant suggestions and knows so much about Sarasota. He was definitely a big reason why I enjoyed my time there. A truly lovely host. Looking forward to coming back.
