Peaceful retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice cabin located in a great location close to Gatlinburg. The first morning a bear walked by our truck and we saw turkey every morning. The rooms were clean with plenty of room for four people.

Perfect

The loft is a little too cramped for the pool table. The guys had a hard time playing a game. Other than that, it was the perfect vacation.

Bear watching at Rascal's Retreat

It was just alright place to stay. Only few problems we had was 1st The beds are hard. They suck! 2nd There’s a lot of bears roaming the resort. Especially a very large male. Watch your family pet close. They’ll attack and eat your dogs. Bears are meat eaters. Don’t let anybody tell you different. They’re not afraid of anything. They need to be captured and moved to a more secluded place. One tore up my bed cover on my truck. It smelled a Gatorade bottle in the back. Another bear got into the neighbors SUV and destroyed everything inside of it. Sunvisor, seats, and panels. Another one broke out the window of another car. The resort is not responsible, for any loss, stolen or damage to your property and vehicle. Last problem was, make sure you bring paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap and coffee. This is the only cabin out of many’s I’ve rented that doesn’t supply you with anything.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Christmas at this cabin. It was stocked with everything we needed. We stopped on the way and bought a Christmas tree and the memories we made were better than any of our gifts. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven.

Great Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall had a very positive experience staying here. I liked that the cabin i specifically stayed in was away from the other cabins. The cabin itself was very clean. Check in and check out was easy. You can do it over text or by calling a number. I will definitely be booking the same cabin again. It is a bit far from everything but it is conveniently located in the middle of wherever we wanted to drive. It was about a 15 to 20 minute drive to any tourist attraction. The view from my cabin or a handful of the other cabins seemed non existent. But I enjoyed views elsewhere. We did end up seeing a black bear walking on the road in front of our cabin toward the end of the week! So def keep an eye open.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and really clean. We travel with our dog, who’s hypoallergenic since I’m allergic, so I’m always a little nervous about pet-friendly places in case there’s dog hair from previous renters—but that wasn’t an issue at all here. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of.The location was perfect—just a few minutes from local shops, a grocery store, and a spot where you can park and ride the trolley into Gatlinburg, which was super convenient.Some of the cabins are pretty close together, including this one. Our neighbors the first night were a little loud, but they checked out the next day and the next guests were respectful and followed the cabin’s noise policy.Our only real complaint was the beds—they were a little too firm for our liking. It would’ve been nice to have an optional pillow-top mattress pad or something similar. Maybe there was and we just didn’t ask.That said, it didn’t take away from our stay at all. The host was quick to respond whenever we reached out, and overall we had a great experience. We’d definitely stay here again!

He coordinated several cabins for our wedding party and guests to be together. Our cabin was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed. The views were wonderful. That's comfortable. Hot tub was nice. Had enough space for everyone to relax. Would highly recommend working with this company.
