About this property

Beautiful, elegant and comfortable apartment in Florence with a terrace and breathtaking views of the cathedral.

It is located on the third and last floor (without elevator) of a 19th century building in the old town, in Via Pilastri, within walking distance of the main museums, churches and monuments (600 m from the Cathedral and 800 m from the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza Signoria and Pontevecchio).

This 85 m² apartment for 5 people was recently renovated and is very well furnished, decorated and fully equipped (internet, washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, air conditioning, CD / DVD player). It consists of a living room with dining area and a small kitchen (fridge, oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, microwave), 1 bathroom with shower (hairdryer available) and 2 double rooms. A short flight of stairs leads to an attic with another bathroom with shower and an open gallery with a single bed. Another staircase from the living room leads to a terrace with great views of the cathedral, Giotto's bell tower and a full view of the city.

The price includes bed linen and towels, final cleaning, gas, electricity, water, heating and air conditioning use, internet Wi-Fi, satellite TV.

The apartment with terrace is also close to the "flea market" and the historic food market of Sant'Ambrogio and is in a beautiful, typical area of Florence with numerous handicraft shops and local restaurants. One of our best places to stay in Florence for those who want to fully enjoy the city. The main train station is 1700 m away

Nice apartment with rooftop patio

The apartment was very nice, be prepared for 3 long flights of stairs without an elevator. Also, the second bathroom is up a set of very steep stairs, which is inconvenient.

Lovely stay in Florence

Great place to stay - good location and overall very comfortable accommodation. In our view the only thing that could be improved was the kitchen. There was very little working space with lots of items covering the surface.

Great location

Loved almost everything. Great unit, had everything we needed. Loved the location and the view. Would suggest a bit more clarity about arriving. In particular where exactly do we meet the property manager. On the street outside the building? Or how do you get in and find the particular unit?

Cute apartment

Our family of four enjoyed our week here. The apartment is clean and nicely laid out. We loved the patio, overlooking the Duomo, for morning breakfast! It’s close to most attractions….walking, the Duomo is 10 min, train station is 22 min, Ponte Vecchio is 15 min. Little Carrefour Express ( grocery store) is nearby as well.

Two couples in Florence

The apartment was perfect.This was our home base to enjoy Tuscany. The host helped us find a close parking garage for our rental car. She also provided the name of a private tour guide for wine tasting day. He took us to the hilltop towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano along with two great wineries. Great to let someone else drive one day. You will want a guide/tour/skip the line to go to the Accademia Gallery to see David. Book using YourTourGuideinFlorence Ricardo is the owner of this company. He was our favorite guide of all the tours we took while in Italy. FYI: You must climb 65 stair steps to reach your apartment. The steps are worth having a rooftop patio.
