About this property
Pet-Friendly Apt · Walk to Dwntwn ·Bikes & Parking
You're steps from the oldest city in America — St. Augustine's cobblestone streets, Spanish fortress, and legendary food scene are your backyard. Step onto your private front porch, breathe the warm Florida air, and feel the unhurried pace of downtown drift past. Inside, Sweet Lemon Stay wraps your whole crew in comfort: two bedrooms, a bright open living area, a stocked kitchen, and a pet-friendly welcome that means no one gets left behind.
ABOUT THIS SPACE Sweet Lemon Stay is a ground-floor apartment hosting up to 6 guests across two furnished bedrooms and a connected open-concept living area. The layout keeps everyone together when you want it and gives you quiet retreats when you need them.
Living Room: Comfortable seating around a large-screen smart TV — Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and anything you stream at home works here. Décor items collected from as far away as the Amalfi Coast in Italy give this space a warmth that no cookie-cutter rental can fake. Pull chairs around the table for a group breakfast or a late-night game after a day of exploring the city.
Primary Bedroom: King-size bed with a plush mattress, natural light, and genuine closet space — the kind of storage that lets you actually unpack and settle in for the week.
Second Bedroom: Twin beds with soft mattresses — a natural fit for children, a pair of friends, or anyone who wants their own sleep space.
Kitchen: Fully stocked for real cooking. Air fryer, microwave, mini refrigerator, full cookware set, dishes, and silverware. Whether it's a group breakfast before the fort or a quiet dinner in on your last night, this kitchen has you covered.
Bathroom: Clean, bright, well-sized shower. Stocked with essentials so you're not hunting for basics on arrival.
Porch & Outdoors: Your private front porch with yellow patio chairs is where mornings find their rhythm — coffee at sunrise, a glass of wine at dusk as the neighborhood strolls past. Mature shade trees and a shell-lined path surround the property. Free bikes in the garage let you explore the city's streets at your own pace, no reservations needed.
LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY Sweet Lemon Stay sits in one of the most walkable spots in St. Augustine — the nation's oldest city, founded in 1565. Most guests barely need a car.

Short drives: - Vilano Beach: 2.6 mi / 10 min - St. Augustine Beach: 6 mi / 10 min - Alligator Farm, Amphitheater & Lighthouse: 2.9 mi / 10 min
The Old City Trolley picks up nearby — a great orientation on day one.
WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR Families with kids: Ground-floor entry means no stairs for strollers or tired little legs. The twin room fits children perfectly; forts, carriage rides, ice cream, and mini golf are all a walk away. The open-concept layout keeps the family together without anyone feeling cramped.
Pet owners: Bring your dog. A one-time $50 fee covers the cleaning — no hunting across town for a pet-friendly option. Your furry travel companion is genuinely welcome here.
History and culture seekers: Walk out the door into 500 years of American history. The fort, Flagler architecture, and St. George Street are right there, waiting every morning.
Couples: King bedroom, front porch evenings, waterfront sunsets, carriage rides, and ghost tours after dark. This city is effortlessly romantic — and this apartment puts you in the middle of it.
Remote workers: Fast WiFi, stocked kitchen, on-site laundry, and the energy of downtown St. Augustine whenever you need a change of scenery from your home office.
GUEST ACCESS Check-in is fully contactless — you'll receive a door code before arrival. The unit is on the ground floor with a private entrance next to the deck; no stairs, no shared hallways. Full access to the apartment, front porch, common outdoor area, and free bikes in the garage.
PARKING Two dedicated off-street spots reserved exclusively for your stay — a genuine rarity in downtown St. Augustine, where street parking is scarce and competitive. No passes, no meters, no circling the block. Located just off the entry for easy load-in and load-out.

We loved this place! Great location in a cute, quieter neighborhood. It's just outside of main historic area but still very walkable. Everyone in our group said they would 100% stay again.

Why they chose this property
It is uniquely designed to be cozy and comfy with quirky artwork and design around the property. You will feel like you are staying in St. Augustine and never far away from any of the action downtown. Casa del Limone is designed around the very Florida street name of Lemon Street and the history of the Spain in St Augustine. Many of the decorations in the Lemon themed apartment come from all over the world and Europe such as the Almalfi Coast in Italy.
We spent a year renovating this property to feel like new while preserving many features that keep the historic feel to it. Enjoy the lemon trees around the property and feel free to pick and use them when they are ripe in season!
