A perfect place for a family to enjoy the mountains of PA and its many spots of interest including the best trout fishing there is in PA!
No street lights, no load music, no cars speeding past; nature at its best! Rustic from the entrance, to an 1800's barn, to your destination - Bended Elbow. A cabin nestled among many acres of land; along with the sound of crickets, possible sighting of a mother deer and fawn, to spotting eagles and wiid ducks enjoying the creek.
This 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath would love to bring country living as a memory for your family.
Fishing Creek is calling for your tube and rod! (NOTE- water level of the creek varies based on the season and weather ). A little further up SR 487 is Ricketts Glen for those that love hiking and swimming in Jean's Lake.... A little further down SR 487 is Knoebels Amusement Resort - a day of thrill, swimming, and the best French fries. And there is so much in between for those that want to Antique; to those that want to pick up a bite to eat in Benton or Bloomsburg, or just relax with a book. Ending your day with sitting around a campfire and enjoy the sounds of the country to the comfort and coziness of Bended Elbow.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bended Elbow. The house was clean and had what we needed. The a/c in each room kept it comfortable. The kitchen was big enough for cooking meals and eating in. It was a relaxing stay!

A very well kept place. Very quiet location. The driveway into the place could use some improvement by putting some gravel on the road. Hopefully I can come back next year

Bended Elbow was perfect for our weekend stay to attend a blues festival. The property is pretty and private, surrounded by nature, with all the modern conveniences. Our host Sue was thoughtful in having water and snacks available and easy to communicate with, making for a seamless check in and out process.

Loved the property. A little off the beatin path but close enough to get to where you need to go. Very peaceful and quiet. Kinda nice not having a TV didn't even miss it.

This was a lovely ,quiet , clean home in the woods- you can easily drive to all nearby attractions - family time with games and conversation without the distraction of screens! We fully enjoyed the space and slept well with our 4 kids - we will be back again when visiting Stillwater Pa and knoebels !

I currently live in Virginia but travel to PA frequently. I have spent time in this area my entire life; enjoying the snow in the winter and the creek in the summer. My first visit I slept in a dresser drawer. Many memories as a child all the way to my senior years.

Nature at its best! I love to see the animal life and the joy the creek brings to all.

What makes this property unique

Bended Elbow is named after my husband. He enjoyed the simple life - watch the ducks float on the rapids, eagle watching in the evening, sitting back enjoying clean air and sipping his wine.
