The place was awesome super beautiful and peaceful . Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, Peter the groundskeeper and maintenance guy was the coolest dude. A cute and tranquil experience but I think the listing needs a little bit of improvement. The main point we didn’t feel was expressed was how the walk down to the tiny house is pretty rugged with a lot of roots on a path that goes down a large hill. If you had heavy suitcases or roller bags, or were not in the best physical condition this could be tough. The tiny house itself was nice and very clean, but after reflecting on the photos I think that they were “enhanced” with AI. It is also very small I do not think 4 people could stay here comfortably. We stayed with 1 child and that worked for us, but I could not imagine how 2 kids, let alone 2 other adults would stay here.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I think that the expectations for the property could be set better.

OMG!! If you are adventurous and feeling young at heart, this is your spot!!! We absolutely love having non-traditional experiences and this was right up our alley. We love how beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtful this tiny home was. Everything from the adventure of following the fun pathway, to the get over it bridge, to following Sasquatch foot prints to the planks captured my heart from the the 1 second we arrived. I want to live here!!!!

Unfortunately, our reservation was double-booked. When we arrived, the cabin was already occupied by another guest. We were unable to reach anyone from either the property or Vrbo who could help at the time, so we had to spend part of our vacation finding another place to stay. Communication was difficult throughout the process. We booked through Expedia, and because the reservation was processed through Vrbo, we were unable to receive messages or check-in instructions. In the end, that wouldn't have mattered since the cabin was already occupied. A representative from the property contacted us more than 24 hours later and quickly refunded the portion they controlled, but the rest had to be handled through Vrbo, which took additional time and effort during our trip. A few other things future guests should know: the cabin was much smaller than expected and would have been very tight for our family of four. The bridge leading to it is missing several planks, making it less than ideal when carrying luggage. The creek was dry during our early June visit, though that may be seasonal. I'm leaving this review because we were told that double bookings happen fairly regularly. Mistakes happen, but I hope additional steps are taken to prevent future guests from arriving after a long day of travel only to find their accommodations already occupied, and no way to get any resolution.

Overall, this property was amazing. The lighting along the trail at night is beautiful. The only downsides are that accessing the rooms can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage or mobility limitations, and the bathroom is a bit small for taller or larger guests. That said, I absolutely loved this place. Despite being right in town, it feels like you're miles away from the city. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and falling asleep to the sound of the creek below was so relaxing. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely book again the next time I'm in the Portland area.
