Beautiful location, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Several aspects of the property did not match what was represented to us before arrival. Most notably, we were specifically told that an outdoor BBQ was available, but were later informed it could not be used during our stay. There were also discrepancies regarding other advertised amenities, including the microwave and basic supplies.We also encountered maintenance issues, including significant mold/humidity in the detached bedroom and damaged/deteriorating cookware. These went beyond matters of personal preference and affected our comfort and experience.The booking and transaction were not handled entirely through Vrbo, with significant communication and documentation taking place outside the platform. This made the process less transparent and quite difficult. Communication with the Host was also difficult, with information often provided weeks later and unclear. When we raised reasonable concerns, we did not feel they were addressed with the responsiveness or professionalism we expected.The property has a beautiful setting and could be a wonderful rental, but the discrepancies between what was communicated and what was actually available, combined with the maintenance and communication issues, significantly detracted from our stay. Future guests should confirm advertised amenities in detail and rental arrangements carefully before booking.
