About the host
Hosted by Amanda Breen
We area a Father and Daughter team hosting folks in our main home. Dominic (the father) is retired and lives in the basement apartment. He loves hiking with his dog Bagel the Beagle, kayaking and boxing! Hence the boxing gym. Amanda (the daughter) lives in Massachusetts and works as a scientist.
Why they chose this property
Bingham is a quaint town about half an hour drive from Skowhegan which has more variety of food and entertainment. Dominic fell in love with the breathtaking view of our property and decided that this would be his place of peace for retirement. We truly hold this property as a special place in our heart, and hope for others to experience the beauty of Maine's nature here.
What makes this property unique
The view is an obvious perk, but beyond that stunning view there are more details that help make this property unique. Dominic a retire boxer built a boxing gym 'The Dot Ave Dancehall" that guests are free to use with a walkthrough by Dominic. We are also working on finishing our 2.5 miles of hiking trails. We have a map available upon request. We hope you will find some moose! We also have a firepit, garden, ample parking and best of all friendly hosts. We are happy to meet and show you around, or feel free to stay to yourself and enjoy the serenity of Mahoney Hill.
