We will be staying here again in the future. Amazing host, great home for our family and the walk by the river is a must, Clean hot tub, and plenty of room for our family of 4 with a toddler. Shannon was amazing to work with and allowed us to have a late check out because to the baby too. Thank you Shannon for going above and beyond.

The house was exactly as described in the listing — clean, comfortable, and a perfect fit for our family of five! We especially appreciated the fans during the unseasonably hot weather in the mountains; they made a real difference keeping everyone comfortable.The location was excellent! We loved the easy access to the river trail and really enjoyed the mountain views from the back porch. The private hot tub was a nice bonus after a day outside.The host was very responsive to all our needs! We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, ample towels and linens, and soap for hand washing, bathing, dishes, etc.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We had a great stay at this property. The listing was an excellent representation of the property. The host had lots of supplies available (paper towels, coffee, etc.) that I typically don't see. The location was amazing. My son who was remote working was able to fish in the Fraser River right out the back door when he had a break. There was lots of good hiking and fly fishing available close by. We accessed the west side (quiet side) of Rocky Mountain National Park, which was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great property for a mountain getaway! The owner was very responsive and her recommendations on fun restaurants and things to do in the local area were spot on. The property was very close to the tubing hills, a supermarket, and great microbrewery options. The hot tub was very relaxing! We would definitely recommend and return.

Never went inside the house because the pictures of the outside was very misleading. They showed a secluded home and the neighbors were within touching distance. The river was full in the picture and i also messaged the host who never once said anything about the river being basically empty and it was the whole reason we had choose that location. The outside was overgrown with weeds all around the whole property. I requested that the host update the pictures at the very least. Very disappointed!’

Hello and I’m truly sorry you felt our house did not meet your expectations. Please let me point out that on VRBO we do state our house is a townhome which of course means we share a wall with a neighbor. If you look at the second picture, which shows our deck and the back outside space, you will see a neighbor directly to the left of us. Additionally, our portion of the lawn is mowed; we have no control over whether our neighbors mow their lawn or not. With respect to the river, I cannot be expected to take up to date photos prior to each guest’s arrival. I will say you asked three different questions about the river, including where you could find fishing licenses, what ponds I thought were showing in a photo that you took (though you never showed me the photo) and one other question. All of those questions could’ve been easily researched by you prior to your arrival into town. With respect to water level, you could easily have researched the prior winter in Colorado to see that snowfall was approximately 59% of normal, therefore leading to a reasonable expectation that river flows would be lower than normal. If you didn’t want to do that, you could’ve called the resources I recommended, including the local Safeway, which sells fishing licenses, to ask what the CFS is. Frankly, I find the most telling part of one of your DMs to me that ‘I guess it’s on us because we could’ve asked more questions.’ Sadly, you strike me as the type of traveler who will never be satisfied wherever they stay.

Great Views, Good Location, Fantatstic Views

Really enjoyed our stay there. The back deck was a really nice place to take in the sunsets. The hiking along the river was nice and we hiked some great trails around the Rockies. We highly recommend it!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Fabulous place!

Had a great stay here. Everything you could want. Close to bus yet quiet with awesome view. Very comfortable and fabulously decorated. We would stay here again.
